The product is not a droopy mess. You can squirt a bit into your hand and really work it into your hair, but it does dry down quite quickly, so you have to move quickly. The product is cooling and feels nice to the scalp, but it’s a lot of money for such a little amount of product. I used this product once on my natural, thick 4C hair, and I’m almost done with the bottle. Would I be repurchasing again? Probably not. Too expensive for such a little amount and my hair needs a lot. But a great product to try once and probably for people that don’t have a lot of curly/kinky/thick hair.

I wash my hair every other day. Sometimes I get very oily with a sour smelling scalp, possibly from buildup or high numbers.
I apply before a shower. I part my dry hair and apply similar to hair dye, but in bigger chunks. I gently massage it in with my fingers, and the cool fresh feeling begins immediately. I focus on the oiliness areas first then all over. The scent is remiscent of mint, rosemary, argon oil.
In the shower it lathers up like shampoo and my hair IS SO SOFT. I put a tiny bit of conditioner on my ends and that is all.
My head is still tingling.

So I bought this because I have oily hair and I read this would help reduce that even though I was skeptical. I have pretty thick and long hair so I leave this in for about 10-15mins and it has a strong cooling sensation but let me tell you it’s super effective, it’s reduced my oily hair so much and left it so much healthier feeling. I use this once a week on my weekend when I do my everything shower and I’m obsessed!

I’ve never used a foam scalp mask before, but recently my scalp has been getting oily faster and I want to go back to my usual wash schedule (2-3 times a week). I’ve tried this product on both dry and wet hair, and it really seems to work either way. Even after shampooing, my scalp doesn’t feel tight or dry and just feels clean, and I’m seeing less flakes and streaks in my hair on day 3.

Very effective and pleasant smell. I use it twice a week. Only suggestion is to perhaps repackage as a bottle with applicator tip (like for hair coloring) that some competitors already use so that it can be directly applied to the scalp without getting it all over the hair. The current method is less efficient and wastes a lot of product before it ever gets to the skin and that it makes it a bit harder to massage.

Immediately after putting this on my hair there was an immediate cooling sensation on my scalp that felt wonderful. I have thick hair so it takes a while to cover everything. I left it on for the recommended time and then took my shower as normal. It smells so nice and my scalp felt refreshed after the shower as well. My hair was also super soft and shiny for the next couple days. Highly recommend for anyone looking to add an extra-nice step to their hair care routine!

I’ve used a few different hair masks prior to Jupiter’s Purifying Scalp Mask and I’ve never been satisfied. First, I love that this mask is so straightforward and easy to use. Other masks have me jumping in the shower or wetting my hair before applying it, then having it sit for an extended period of time, and then wash it out. This mask you apply right on your dry hair before you get in the shower. Second, there’s no long waiting period. Up to 5 minutes is all you need to feel the benefits of the mask deep cleaning the scalp… Yes, ONLY 5 MINUTES!! Last, it really does work. I truly feel that my scalp is cleaner after using this.
