I have used the Jurlique Recovery Cream for a few weeks now on various old scars and stretch marks. In terms of ‘visual recovery’ I can’t say that I have noticed a whole lot of improvement – however on the skin surrounding the afflicted areas I can say that it has become silky smooth and near free of imperfections. The cream itself is also silky smooth and is really satisfying to apply. I use a bit more than a fingertip and rub it in to my skin, it is very quickly absorbed. There is no overwhelming scent from this cream.
The price of this cream is a little high for the amount that you get but it is really high quality stuff. I’d consider purchasing again.

I really like this moisturiser – it’s perfect for my dry, easily irritated skin and it keeps it feeling moisturised all day.
The jar at first glance dosent seem very big, however a little of this cream goes a very long way. It’s very rich and if you warm a little first, it will easily cover the whole face.
It’s great as a day or night cream and make-up does go well on top. Having said that, because it provides a barrier on the skin, it is one of those creams that tends to melt and look shiny when the skin gets hot, even on my really dry skin. Less is definitely more for daytime wear and in warmer weather I may just use this on a night.
The cream is lovely to use and doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin. It’s calmed the dry patches on my forehead, that often look an angry shade of red, and my skin on the whole looks really good whilst using this, plus it feels calm and comfortable.
It’s a lovely cream that works a treat on dry skin – it’s definitely a new favourite for me 🙂

I really like this moisturiser, it’s super hydrating but not greasy at all. A small amount goes a long way as well, as the cream has a smooth, light texture.
I really appreciate that the jar has an inner lid to stop it spilling. The cream has a light scent which is very nice (not too floral or overpowering.) It absorbs into my skin quickly and keeps my skin moisturised for 10 hours no problem. My skin definitely feels softer and smoother after a couple of days usage.
I really like that the ingredients are listed clearly on the box, so I know it has iris root rather than seeing a chemical/Latin name. It is a fairly expensive cream, but a little goes a long way, and the jar being 50ml means it does offer decent value.
Overall I’m pleased with this moisturiser and would definitely recommend it, for dry or mature skin especially. 4*

Applies easily and does not leave any residue. It is a little pot but there is ample in as you would not need to use much. Obviously, depending on the way the cream works for you, you would either be hesitant to spend the money on it or not.

When the product arrived I was taken aback by how thin the packaging looked for a product priced at £63 (at time of review). If this is an eco attempt at cutting back on unnecessary material then I would suggest they have gone too far! The cream itself will be given extensive testing by my partner and her reaction to is very positive so far. It has a nice gentle floral aroma with a hint of lavender but understated and not over-powering. The brand has provenance and that goes a long way to accepting that a cream can help skin recover but only regular use will provide the answer and an improvement to the rating!
