I have never had a shampoo which cleaned and conditioned by white hair as well as this product. I will admit it is expensive but a bottle lasts me 6 months. You only need a small amount to wash your hair. I love how soft and gleaming my hair is after washing. I would give it a sixth star if it was available.

I am about 15 months into growing gray after many years of color. I felt I needed different products for the new texture of my hair. I’ve seen other gray shampoos make people’s hair lavender, so after reading all about Just Nutritive, like this shampoo. My hair is shiny, soft, manageable. Be sure to shake the bottle before each use (I read this on the product details). It smells lovely. I didn’t buy the conditioner.

Perhaps it’s because my hair is more white than grey….but this product did not do as advertised which was to brighten my hair and remove brassiness. I had some yellowing in my hair from the sun. This product looked promising and given the very high cost for such a small bottle I expected good results. After a few uses I did notice a change in the colour and was hopeful something was happening. BUT, as I continued to use it I noticed the yellowing in my hair was changing colour….it turned to drab beige! An expensive purchase to pour down the drain. If you have WHITE hair….consider carefully.

Over the years, I have tried a lot of shampoos meant for silver/white hair. Some were purple shampoos and some weren’t. Some purple shampoos actually turned my hair lavender; some actually made my white hair more of a gun metal grey. I’ve been using Matrix So Silver for years now and it makes my hair shiny, no yellowing and I use it every day. I kept seeing ads about Nutritive and thought I’d try it. I didn’t really think it would make my hair any shinier but thought I’d see. First off, I really did not like the smell of the shampoo. Seconly I didn’t like that you had to shake it up before using and it never created a lot of suds. Thirly, it didn’t rinse out as well as the So Silver. I used it for 3 days and it did not make my hair any shinier than the So Silver so I returned it. Highly recommend Matrix So Silver.

I just started using this shampoo instead of the ones with purple dye. This really gives my hair a shiny clean look and leaves it manageable. It has a nice clean smell also.
