I had gotten a sample of this in a bag and loved it so much! Greta for stressed skin. Healed spots overnight. Love, LOVE it! Highly recommend.

  2. The Chosen One

My face is so soft compared to normal. I noticed after two days of using it morning and night. The first application I applied it twice because my face was extra dry which is partly why I bought it. My redness is a little more toned down. I cringed at the price tag but I’ve been impressed enough that I’m going to keep this in my routine. I have not broken out either, which is an issue I run across with some of the thicker and heavier products.

What’s Not to love about this cream. It’s worth every penny. Will keep purchasing it.
    So soft on the skin.
    Feels like Butter.

  4. T. DeJarlais

Great product for sun damaged or aggressively exfoliated skin; a bit heavy for daily use. (I love it once a week after a hard peel or scrub. More than this frequency seems to cause a break out on my combination skin.)

As with all Kate Sommville products, it has hi zero lingering scent and wears well under foundation. (YSL AllNighter tested)

A small jar of this should last you 3-6 months.

  5. Alvarez Family

The usual red and dry dark areas that come with harsh winter every year has seized to exist for me with this cream. I usually get really dry around my mouth to a point that it peels and turns dark. But with this lotion it didn’t happen this year

My daughter was introduced to this cream at Sephora. Using this along with a few other skin care products has produced incredible results. She has rosacea so it makes sense that the DeliKate Recovery Cream would deliver. She lives in a dry area with no humidity and her skin does not respond well to the environment. Based how beautiful her skin appears now I decided to invest in a container myself through an Amazon purchase. The thick white cream without any fragrance comes in a short round glass container. I’ve used it daily on my mature skin for 11 days and am now realizing my redness is more of a result of broken capillaries and hyperpigmentation discolorations although according to my dermatologist I do have some rosacea. My skin feels very soft after applying but that’s not my concern. I was hoping for my skin tone to be more evened out but that sounds like an assumption I shouldn’t have made. Anyway, long story short if you have rosacea you may want to explore this product. It’s a bit spendy so I will gift it to my daughter to enjoy.

After 20 years of trying thousands of different products I’ve managed to find a daily/nightly routine that seems to be effective for my normal/slightly sensitive dry skin. I’m a 40yo woman who still gets acne every month and struggles with dryness. I’ve found that alternating my strong retinol, vitamin C and glycolic acid creams at night, and applying this lovely Recovery Cream during the day (with makeup + wearing a mask) seems to make my skin SO HAPPY. My skin has been clear, moisturized and frankly GLOWING. Try it. You won’t regret it.

  8. Ed

Im oily skin, this cream is very smooth, rich, no fragrance and non-comedogenic, luxury experience, I can use it day and night.

I love this product, I’ve tried it at Sephora and was finally about to pull the trigger when something made me pull out my phone and search deals before buying in-store. When I saw the price on Amazon, I ordered immediately (yes, I’m a nightmare customer, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve ordered on Costco.com standing right in the Target store).

But when I got this product, it didn’t look anything like the one I’ve tried at the mall. It didn’t feel the same. It didn’t smell the same. It didn’t feel as luxurious as it did, even when I tried putting on more (when I try on at the mall, I scoop up way more than I do at home).

So I looked up the batch code. The two I had ordered (I got one for my mom) were 1 year and 8 months. I started researching whether that’s okay, and answers were mixed. It really depends on the specific formulation. But I used to make my own soaps and lotions before handmade products were widely available, and I know that efficacy in most dried herbs and infused oils goes down within several months.

I still think it’s a wonderful product, but I 100% recommend saving up a bit more and getting the full-priced new product, instead of paying less for a product that was produced almost 2 yrs ago.
