Honestly? I can’t really see any difference in my face but with products like these it will take time, and may not even really show any change; just delay your skin getting older.

Doesn’t leave a sticky or otherwise strange residue after the use.

I love the rollon on this, and the fact that you can turn it on and off. I asume it’s because the liquid itself is fairly watery so you can avoid a lot of it falling into the cap.

Feels good on a skin and while I can see many people have had a lot of trouble with this I personally haven’t had any. However due to the watery liquid I think the rollon on something like this isn’t necessarily the best idea and I understand why people are having trouble: they’re probably squeezing the tube when they shouldn’t. The watery liquid will come out easily on its own.

Overall I think this is a solid product, though I feel the price is really high. I can’t see what exactly gives the price here within the ingredients.

I’d never heard of this brand before ordering it to try – a quick search suggests that is a premium brand so I was intrigued what benefits the serum could deliver. Having been using the serum for a week I can’t say I have noticed any difference. Its a lovely light serum that moisturises my dry skin rather well. In fact I haven’t always needed a moisturiser after although I do still use my eye cream. The serum is applied by a roller on the end of the tube that can be twisted to on and off positions. I didn’t realise this straight away so had a bit of a leak in the lid when I next opened it. I have taken care to twist to the closed position since! I don’t agree with another review that too much serum comes out with the roller, I found the opposite actually and I suppose it depends how much pressure you apply to the tube. On the whole I do like this serum and would love to continue to use to see if there are long term effects. However despite’s Amazon competitive price of £79.80 ( it costs even more at other online retailers) this is above what I am willing to pay for face care.

This rejuvenation serum from Kate Somerville is very light, so please be careful when using it as it really doesn’t need squeezing out of the tube – it tends to flow out.   It is absorbed into the skin quickly and leaves no greasy feeling or stickiness.    My wife has been using this for a couple of weeks now (after exfoliating) and she says that her skin feels softer and a bit tighter – so she’s happy with it, although she thinks that it’s very expensive.

i was very tempted to write a day 1 review, but i like to test things for at least about a week.

even after the first application, i noticed way softer, fuller looking skin. i have a very stubborn forehead wrinkle that lightly faded, even the next day when i washed everything off with my cleanser. my face retained a decent glow and just looked a lot more moisturized and smooth overall

ive been applying it after a toner everytime, so im unsure of how good it’d be on its own. if youre spending close to $100 on something like this, youre probably taking skin care seriously, so you should just always use a toner anyway, it helps things like this serum absorb better and give the (potential) maximum benefit. in my case, this seems to a be working very well. I don’t follow it up with anything though, since I’m not sure if it woild negatively interact with my essence. My previous routine was cleanser, toner, ampoule, essence. Current routine with this is cleanser, toner, serum, sonce this serum seems to do the work of the ampole + essence, while also keeping your face way more moisturized.

applying this seems a bit tedious though i will admit. the roller is nice and probably gives some benefits, but id prefer it i could just apply it directly with my hands or something, so i get a more even coating. it’s really hard to gauge the amount with the roller. my advice, put as little as possible and add more if needed, since you can always add a bit more, but you cant put back what is already out. that being said, a little does go a very long way, so i suggest squeezing a very tiny amount to start with when you begin using this, i definitely used way too much the first day (althought i did also see huge results first day because of it).

this does leave a very noticeable film/moisturized look and is also a bit sticky if you happened to touch your face, this doesnt seem to fully absorb, even if you go in with your hands and pat the rest in, after applying with the roller. So far this has not caused any breakouts which is a huge plus since I usually breakout easily when using new products, even with how oily this leaves the skin, there hasnt been an uptick in acne, It has even caused less acne so far, which has been great.

im excited for the results after the full bottle, but im also wondering how the long term benefits will hold once youve finished the bottle.

A lot of comments complain about using the applicator, but I actually really like using it—I found it works great, its easy to use and gently on the face. Easy to turn the applicator on and off, though you must remember to turn it off to prevent leaking. I just think its so much fun to roll this around my face!

The serum is light enough to spread easily and my skin feels very soft with it on. It takes a few minutes to soak in and does leave the skin feeling a bit sticky for awhile. No major scent.

The roller on this serum makes it extra fun, and soothing to use on your face. You just have to be careful to only squeeze it lightly before applying, or too much serum will come out. It’s very relaxing to use somewhere like the bath after washing your face. The serum absorbs quickly, and made my face feel calm, moisturized, and made my skin look smooth and matte. I have only tried it at night so far, but it seems like it could be great during the day under makeup too. After using it, the next mornings my skin was still moisturized, plump, and happy. So I consider that a success! I’m curious to see what the long term usage effects will be. I will probably use this a few times a week.

This goes on like absolute butter and it’s so super hydrating. It’s kind of expensive but that’s not something to worry about. My skin was so plump and so hydrated.

Not a bad serum, but I think the packaging was a mistake. The serum is too thin and runny to be used via such an applicator. It would be much more suitable for a regular bottle. For the price you can probably find something more effective and less messy.

I had forgotten that this came with a roller applicator and was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box. I previously ordered a metal roller ball that has found a permanent place in the freezer because I’m too lazy to grab it every morning. So, having a serum that comes with a metal roller applicator is a win-win for me.

Dispensing the right amount of serum is a bit tricky. I haven’t quite figured out how much hard to squeeze to get the right amount of serum. As for the serum, it does not absorb as quickly as other serums I have used, which, again, could be due to squeezing more product than I need. Recently, a lot of the beauty products I have used have irritated my skin, leaving it dry. I had no such issues with this serum. As for the promises made in the product listing, time will tell.

I recently received the Kate Somerville supercell rejuvenation serum and I have only use it a couple of times. But so far it’s been a very nice addition to my skincare routine. I personally only use it at night. I found that for me it works well to close the applicator after squeezing the right amount of product and then spread it with the roller head. That way I don’t over apply product. I have very sensitive skin and this product has not caused any irritation or breakouts so far. I find that the serum absorbs quickly and it’s very hydrating. So far I’m really enjoying it

A very light skin cream with a roll on applicator, absorbs easily and quickly and (for the wife) did not leave a ‘greasy’ skin feeling that some other creams have. Goes on really easily as it seems to just flow out onto the roller ( don’t squeeze the tube).
Results…. well its difficult to tell to be honest, the wife has used the tube up now over about 3 weeks and it had kept her skin ( used on face only) smooth but as to the anti aging i don’t really know ( maybe she/we are just too far gone for it to help 🙂 ) and at this price point we cant really afford to replenish every couple of weeks or so.
This may be great if your young enough and want to keep your soft glowing skin in good condition but don’t expect miracles.
Overall, good light cream but quite expensive.

The applicator is a roller. So, you need to be very careful not to squeeze too hard or too much will come out. The serum is very runny. It is very easy to have too much come out at once. The roller applicator is very relaxing. Although, I find myself still using my fingers to pat it on even after using the roller.

This Kate Somerville rejuvenating serum leaves you skin feeling soft and soothed.
It is easy to apply, simply twist the cap then lightly squeeze the tube until the serum appears. Stop squeezing and gently move the roller over your face spreading the serum evenly as you go.
