I’ve used Kenra 25 for years. Last year, my niece happened to use my bottle, and she was hooked, as well. I’ve read somewhere that they may be discontinuing the 80% VOC, so I can’t speak to how the newer version may work. As for this, though, it’s lightweight, yet it holds. I spray two or three light layers, letting it dry in between. Then when I’m done fixing it the way I want, I comb through the bottom half of my hair, so it won’t look stiff. That way, it still holds the top pretty well, but doesn’t give the helmet head effect. I just stocked up again.

Most amazing hair product I have ever used! If you spray with your head upside down, you will get so much volume you have to lay your hair down from standing straight up. That is the best way I have found to use it. (I am a man with about 7 inch long hair on top.) It not only increases volume, but also it reduces grease and keeps form. I can sleep overnight with this in my hair, and I wake up with my hair literally looking better than when I styled it the previous morning. I use hairspray on my hair generously after styling, but even without hairspray, a brush will return your hair nearly to being freshly blow dried. There is no odor nor after spray. I even ordered some shipped to my grandmother who has volume issues.

Hands down the best hair spray ever! My hair is very fine so it loses volume very easily, with this, I still have volume the next day. The hold is amazing, keeps curls in place without your hair lookin and feeling solid like a wig or a toupee. You can spritz a little on before you blow-dry it for volume, and a little bit afterwards to keep the curls & waves in place. The smell isn’t very strong either so it won’t leave you smelling like a mechanic.
This will be the last hairspray I ever get going forward. It puts all other ones to shame!

I love Nexus products, the hairspray holds without looked “fixed” . This size was smaller than I expected and the spray isn’t as strong as the cans I have had before .. it works but I may stick to buying in the store instead of ordering by mail.

This is the best hairspray I’ve ever used. I didn’t think hairspray was actually different by brands, so imagine my surprise when I upgraded from the $5 super specials at the grocery store – LOL! This stuff is great, I have fine hair and this is amazing at keeping it styled the way I like, without it turning into acrylic on my head. It looks and feels natural, with a little bit of movement but just the right amount that it sticks with the natural looking vibe. My wife even started using this and defected from her brand of choice (whatever that was, it was one of the high end ladies kind). If you’re in the market for something new, even though the price seems higher than what I was used to, it is very worth it.
