This stuff is garbage and it dried out my hair, plus it made my head itch like crazy!! The ingredients aren’t even healthy and it doesn’t smooth the hair shaft at all!! I’ll never buy this again!! It has rubbing alcohol in it!! Why would you put this on my hair?! NEVER AGAIN!!

I have not been diagnosed with alopecia or any other hair loss conditions. The product page states that their proven results are based on the products being used in conjunction with minoxidil which I do not use. I am, however, a woman in my early 40’s with the start of thinning hair. I like to try products like these in hopes of it being somewhat of a preventative measure.
While I haven’t been using this for very long, I do notice less hair falling out in the shower. The shampoo lathers nicely and is definitely a great clarifier. It truly makes my hair feel squeaky clean. The conditioner is rich and thick and leaves my hair feeling very moisturized. They have a matching scent which I don’t find overly exciting but it’s certainly not unpleasant. It’s also not terribly strong or overwhelming which is my preference. My personal opinion is that it’s a bit too pricey, especially for the amount of product you get. Overall though, I’m pleased with how this set leaves my hair looking and feeling.

Let me start by saying that I have fine, slightly wavy hair that generally lacks body. I color it with a temporary dye that washes out over 4 weeks or so. I am also nearing 50 (gulp!), and as I age I have been noticing my hair thinning slightly, with the hair at the roots looking increasingly sparse. I was therefore really excited to try this. It has only been a week or two since delivery, so I’m commenting here on short term effects – I’ll aim to update in a few weeks after more use.
So…does it work? So far I’m going to say yes! Firstly it is, as it promises, color safe, and I have not noticed any increase in fading or color loss through use. Secondly, it has really added volume to my hair, and especially a good amount of lift at the roots. This is without any particular styling, and with no blow drying (I am especially lazy with my hair – I wash, condition, comb and leave to air dry, and really can’t be bothered with anything more, though I did use the follicle boosting serum in this set).
Has it stopped or reduced hair shedding? Has it ‘revitalized my hair follicles’? This, I can’t answer – at least not yet. I’ll be keeping my eye on things and will comment if I see any effects, either way. So far, it is at least making my hair feel thicker and fuller, which in turn makes me feel younger (or at least a bit less old!) and I like it!
