I love these clips!! These are sturdy and really hold hair off my face. I used these on a daily basis. I may order more as (sadly) lost two clips. These are fabulous for my thick, wavy hair!!

– perfect size, vibrant colour
– hair clip is great quality. Very solid and holds even my thin, limp hair in place super well.
– while you only get two, it’s still a great price for a licensed Sanrio product

– while the bow is such a great size the clip itself on the back is so short 🙁 I wish it was thicker and longer to hold more hair.

I bought these clips as a birthday gift and the person loved it. They are simple clips and hold fly always well. I would say they have good durability and are great for functional use. It was a good price for part of a birthday gift.

I should’ve read other reviews before I bought these. They will not work on thin or regular textured hair. They will only stay in very thick or curly hair. They are too heavy, and will fall out of thin hair.

In the photo of this product, it shows the clip being embedded inside the plastic part of the tortoise. The new manufacturing of this has the clip being glued on top of the tortoise And not actually embedded into the plastic tortoise part.
The clip being glued on the top is what makes my hair snag and I have lost my old set of these clips so I cannot show a photo, but I have the old version of the rose gold ones and I will show how the clip on the top glued on top this prevent the snagging. The rose gold ones are discontinued or not available anymore so I cannot purchase these either.

It’s extremely heavy and with protruding discs throughout my spine, I don’t do heavy anymore. Quality is amazing. I have fine hair & due to its weight it slides out & does hurt my neck.
