These bars are very high quality, and they do a great job cleaning and conditioning your hair. The scent is subtle, but it is pretty pleasant. It takes a little effort to form a lather, and the lather is a little sticky feeling, but it does a great job getting your hair clean. These are ideal for travel as it’s one less liquid you need to think about, and they clearly do a good job getting the job done. Definitely recommend these bars.

I love the shampoo bar for this. It’s definitely different than your bottle shampoo and conditioner so you’ll have to get used it. The shampoo gets my hair really clean. I have fine, very thin, curly hair and sometimes if I don’t use the bar in the perfect way, my hair gets stuck to the bar and makes it difficult to move the bar on my scalp. This is probably due to the combination of curly and fine hair, but I’m not certain. The conditioner completely fell apart after 2 uses. My conditioner bar turned into mush , broke into 2 pieces and then disintegrated. The oil is good. doing some basic math, the oil comes out to be about $23 which is a lot. The oil is nice though. It’s a prewash treatment that I apply to my hair before I wash my hair. I really like how it moisturizes my hair. It makes a difference to my hair every time I use it. It leaves my hair smooth and not frizzy. I do like the quality of these products, I just wish the conditioner bar lasts longer and stays in one piece.

But the conditioner bar basically falls apart after using it half down. Chunks come off at a time and it’s super wasteful.

I really like this shampoo and conditioner because these are great for traveling and make it really easy and convenient to just throw them in the travel bag without having to worry about liquid ratios. The shampoo and conditioner are shaped like S and C. This makes it really easy to identify which bar is which. The oil prewash definitely makes my hair come out smoother and softer after wash as well. The bottle is shaped conveniently to apply oil directly onto the scalp from the bottle with the nozzle and get precise application.

Overall I think this is a pretty good product to clean and condition normal hair. It’s not drying and did not cause any issues that I usually have with shampoo bars such as dry hair and flaky scalp… This was the first thing I noticed and that was great! The shampoo bar was a bit difficult to get the amount of lather I like. The conditioning bar is really moisturizing and coats the hair with a thick moisturizer. I have very thin hair so this was noticeable to me. It washed off fine and allowed me to detangle with ease.
If you like shampoo bars, this kit is one of the better ones.

As a frequent traveler, the search for the best bar shampoo is a long and ongoing process. I have tried many brands with varied results. I have been using the Kitsch Rice Shampoo Bar Soap, Rice Conditioner Bar Soap, & Pre Wash Scalp Oil for over a week of every day shampooing. I have used it, with and without the included Pre-Wash Scalp oil, also with and without the conditioner. Every combination of the three worked well.
The shampoo bar is, so far, the best I’ve tried for my medium length, fine and straight. It lathers nicely and has a pleasant scent that isn’t strong. It also left my hair soft, healthy feeling with a slight amount of volume and even with the conditioner it didn’t leave my hair flat. The conditioner is good, better than most bar conditioners, but I am now using it only on the ends.
They even shaped the bar to remind us which is the shampoo and which is the conditioner. I loved that because I have forgotten with other brands.
I have no idea the purpose of the Pre-Wash Scalp oil. It seemed to make no difference if I used it or not, but it sure does smell nice!
This is certainly my new go-to brand of bar shampoo and conditioner.

I really like how nice my hair feels and look since I’ve been using this system regularly. I don’t notice as much breakage, which I think will aid in my hair growth (time will tell). My granddaughter uses the conditioner bar as a leave in conditioner for her curly hair and really likes how soft and manageable it leaves her hair, especially since she’s been swimming a lot this Summer.

I have ageing thin hair and have been using this bar shampoo for a month and I like how the way it feels on my hair. I need to use more to see some actual results and so far it does make my hair looks thicker.
