    Muy buenas 👍

Do these hair ties work? Yes. Are the best in my opinion? No. I have long hair and a lot of it. I play tennis and pickleball and always have my hair up. These hair ties are great for not damaging your hair / leaving creases. My issue is they stretch a lot and I have to wrap my hair 4 times to get it to stay. Not a big deal but I personally think the Teleties work better. They are stronger and I don’t have to wrap them around as much. For the price, these ties are good. But for running / high intensity activities, I prefer teleties.

There is no product that this band creates that isn’t good. I have now purchased multiple products from them and this hairband is excellent. It keeps your hair in place. It doesn’t pull your hair out. You don’t get that headache as a result of your hair being tied up, I’ve got thick hair and it keeps the hair in place doesn’t fall out love that there’s so many in a pack because of course you leave these in multiple places so you know that you can always reach for one highly recommend.

Cute and tiny and don’t pull out hair. They shrink back up in hot water.

  5. Kayla Braude

Doesn’t tangle as bad as some of the plastic hair ties do. It’s a neutral color which goes with any outfit.

Love these. I have thick long hair and these are smaller but very flexible and not as bulky as some of these kind of hair ties.

    Personal Background:
Hair Type: super fine silky hair – NO volume on top of my head
Amount of Hair: VERY full head of hair, as in I have a ton of hair, but each strand is very thin
Hair Texture: varies (if I air dry it’s wavy/has a little curl / if I bush periodically when wet it dries mostly straight / if I kink it a bunch while drying it has light curls midway down my head)
    Hair Color: Dirty/Golden blond
Hair Length: Long, hangs about 8 inches below my shoulder

So, I used to use elastics with the fabric coating the band (pretty standard hair ties). Scrunchies, though they would leave less kinks, did not keep my hair together (my hair just slipped right out) and hair rubber bands DESTROYED my hair every time I removed them (despite being designed to come out of hair, I would lose a good amount in the battle because the fine strands just LOVED getting stuck). The soft fabric ties you use on kids(the ones with no rubber band in them)? those did not stay in, but at least they didn’t hurt to remove. That really left me with the regular hair ties. For years I had to buy multiples packs a year because they never lasted long (would either snap on me, or the elastic got too stretched out. Because my hair has a silky texture, I had to wrap my hair pretty tightly (to the point of always hurting my fingers when putting up my hair) Aside from the constant hair tie replacing and loss of finger circulation when putting on, I would always get the worse hair kinks. If I wore my hair up for one day, I had to wear my hair up everyday until the next time i washed my hair. The kink was THAT bad. (note on myself: I’m pretty big on my hair care/health, so I would never straighten my hair to remove the kink, and try to only wash my hair a few times a week and use dry shampoo between washings- this could attribute to my hair type) THEN, one glorious Christmas my sister got me the weirdest hair tie as a gift. I have never seen a hair tie that looked like a coil before. She said it was big in Asia and I decided to give it a go (because why not?) It was a weird transition, but one that was surprisingly life changing. The coils in the tie helps keep my hair up by catching the stands that want to weasel their way out, and I did not have to bind my hair as tightly. Because I did not need to wrap the tie so many times round my hair, I got less of a hair kink. I can now wear my hair up one day then wear it down the next. That’s how much the tie made a difference. On top of that, they are surprisingly durable. I received a two pack of clear coil ties, and have been using them for 8 months. The only reason I purchased these is because I left one at work (I’ve been working remotely since COVID hit, and I don’t want to drive 45 minutes each way to retrieve a hair tie) and the other one is getting pretty stretched (fun fact, unlike regular hairties, these coil ties are almost as strong stretched out as they are new – I just have to wrap the tie around my hair a few extra times, but they still work like a charm!). I wanted to have some backup ties, and I liked having a few other colors. If I’m going out, I’d rather use a coil closer to my hair color than a clear shiny one.

Now, that is my review on coil ties in general (10/10). My thoughts on this particular brand of hair coils? So far I’ve used them daily for a little over a week, and the products seem relatively comparable. They have not stretched out yet, and they hold my hair just as well as far as i can tell. My only note is that, since working from home, I don’t try to get my hair up as nicely. Instead of a high pony tail or a bun, I’ve been wearing my hair mostly is low hanging loose ponytails. Most of my thoughts on this tie, and the reason I rated it 5 stars, is because I love this type of hair tie, and it acts the same as the ones I’ve used in the past. I also felt this pack was a great value, offering multiple hairties in a variation of colors for a reasonable price ($8 may seem high for hair ties, but as previously mentioned these things will last for the long haul).

UPDATE: I tried binding my hair in a high ponytail, and the coil did stretch out a bit in the process. The coil is still plenty usable, but I don’t think they will last quite as long as the previous product I used. However, I still consider this product worthy of five stars, because the price for the amount of hair coils received is still a bargain. I anticipate these coils lasting me a good year, despite the mild stretching I already noticed in one coil (have not needed to use any of the other coils yet) I uploaded a picture to show current hair coil status. The clear coil is the one I received last December (8 months of daily use – often used to bind my hair in a high ponytail, so a lot of strain has been put on the coil) The black coil is the one I’ve been using for about 2 weeks of daily use (mostly binding my hair loosely in a low ponytail) The brown coil has not yet been used and came in the same pack as the black coil (can see how much the black coil has stretched out over 2 weeks of use) I estimate getting about 6 weeks use out of each coil if I rotate between high ponytails (hair bound tightly) and low ponytails (hair bound loosely).

Last side note, because I always look for this when I read product reviews, I write reviews randomly. I usually only comment on products I’ve personally used and have strong opinions on (I don’t write reviews on things I buy for others, or items I am indifferent on. I mostly rate books I’ve read because I think it’s good for authors to get feedback on their work & items i really love/dislike)

These are great! Comparable with the invisbobe brand. I love doing the “puffy pony” look for my daughter and these work well for that.

  9. María Fernanda

Tienen un diseño único que distribuye la presión de manera uniforme, por lo que puedo llevar el cabello recogido durante horas sin sentir ninguna molestia.

  10. DD59

I have long, to the middle of my back, slightly wavy hair that creases really easily. I like to wear a high ponytail to keep it out of the way and stay cool. I have only been using Invisibobble hair coils for years and love them. But when I went to buy the from the usual places they seem to be less available. I though I’d give the Kitsch ones a try after looking up some reviews. And I think they are actually better than the Invisibobble brand. They hold great and are super comfortable with no hair crease. And while Invisibobble didn’t give me a headache my scalp would be pretty sensitive at the end of the day. With the Kitsch hair coil I didn’t have any sensitivity or headache. I will definitely keep buying the Kitsch brand instead of Invisibobble. I also really only like the transparent ones and I like that I can get an 8 pack of the them with the Kitsch brand.

  11. Timedout

Ils sont vraiment jolis et pratiques
Même s’ils sont pas hyper résistants- ils durent assez longtemps

  12. Mamaof2

I absolutely love these Kitsch Spiral Hair Ties for my fine hair! They hold my ponytail securely without pulling or leaving those dreaded creases. Plus, they’re gentle enough that I can take them out without any tugging or hair breakage. The transparent color is a nice touch, making them almost invisible in my hair and matching any outfit.

However, my daughter, who has thick and wavy hair, isn’t as impressed. Not only do they not hold her hair as securely, but they also tend to tangle quite a bit with her thicker locks. We’ve had a few moments where the hair tie seemed more like a hair trap! It seems these are better suited for finer hair types, but they may not be the best choice for those blessed with lots of volume.

Overall, if you have fine or medium hair, these are fantastic! They provide a comfortable and gentle hold all day long. But if your hair is thicker or has more texture, you might want to consider another option to avoid the tangles.

Used on holiday, in the sea and pool. They didn’t split or stretch too much.
