My girlfriend has long dark hair that likes to frizz up or have static on certain days. I am told it has a mind of its own. She uses hair treatment product to help with the frizz that seems to work well. Too much oil I am told is not a good thing. I got this heated brush for her to give a try. It comes with instructions on how to use it and a glove you can wear to keep from touching surfaces that get hot as the brush heats or during use. Simple and easy to use once it heats up. The brush does seem to help with frizz and with making her hair look nice, well managed and shiny. Brush glides through hair easy, not burning it. She wears her hair straight; this brush really did make it look nice and soft to the touch not dried out feeling stiff or rough. She did take and roll the ends a little on the brush to form a small curve to the ends which also looked nice. Great item, easy to use, makes a great gift or an item to use every day for simple hair Maintenace. Great item for traveling, small enough to drop in the overnight bag. Doesn’t burn hair, dry it out or get tangled when used. Great item for reducing frizz or static that can be used more often than hair treatment products leaving hair looking great and easy to manage.

I rarely write reviews but I love this thing! It replaced something similar I’ve had for years, and I wish I had purchased this sooner! It heats up SO fast and curls my hair so well! The curl held all day, unlike anything I’ve used before. Great value for the money!

I own one of those hair blower curling brushes that you are supposed to use on wet/damp hair. I never was able to get that to work. I found myself taking forever to just end up with dry hair if I am lucky, but never styled.
This is mean to be used with dry hair. I like how the bristles grab the hair rather than the conventional curling iron which you have a little arm that hold the hair down. Those always lead to a kinked end where the arm holds down the bit of hair. Needless to say, I never had much luck with those either.
If you want to smooth your hair and add a nice little curl under this works great. I think this is a great option to create a blow out type style. I am new to using the machine, so I can only expect to get better with it. I tried a few pieces and did not find myself able to create massive curls, but honestly I don’t think that is the purpose of this device anyway since the brush is fairly large it is mostly for creating volume and smoothness and bounce.
