I’ve been searching for a hydrating cleanser because my skin has become more sensitive and dry due to the topical acne products I’ve been prescribed. Previously, I didn’t have anything for dry and sensitive skin. This cleanser is extremely gentle and feels great on my skin. It also doesn’t leave your skin dry after cleansing. I’ve been using this cleanser for about 2 years now. I think I bought it after Hyram recommended it for people w/ dry skin in a YouTube video. I had tried so many cleansers up till that point (and I’ve tried a few others since but I keep coming back to KB) and they either stripped my skin, didn’t cleanse effectively, or broke me out. I actually have combo to dry and acne prone skin but I was willing to give KB a chance and I’m so glad I did. It has the perfect gel consistency that emulsifies super easily and doesn’t dissipate the moment you apply it, which I find to be an issue w/ emulsifying products. It leaves my skin smooth and clean but doesn’t strip it.
That being said, it can’t remove makeup very well on its own. This is fine for me because I double cleanse w/ an oil or balm cleanser first anyway, which is something you should be doing nightly if you wear makeup and/or sunscreen on a daily basis (please wear SPF!). If you’re interested in oil/balm cleansers then I would recommend either the man:yo, DHC, hadalabo, or softmyo cleansing oils or the juno skin cleansing balm.
Overall, this is a fantastic cleanser especially for dryer skin types. It’s also pretty affordable and lasts a good while! Btw, I’ve also bought this product from the KB and I can confirm that Amazon is selling the exact same legit thing 🙂

I only recently discovered this, and the reviews are right – it’s great. With the manufacturer having discontinued the face wash I had used for years, I was really challenged to find an effective cleanser without micro plastics, very little or no scent and the ability to make a little product go a long way. The Hemp Matcha cleanser leaves my face feeling clean, but not dry, and fresh but not scented or perfumed. After the first week of use, my skin feels better than it has in a while. Definitely will buy it again.
