I got this because I wanted to help grow my hair and improve it. I felt because it was multiple steps it would work well. First, unscrew the shampoo and conditioner and take off the seal, so you ain’t in the shower wondering why product isn’t coming out. Shampoo- had a minty and medical scent to it. Conditioner- had a light mild scent. Easy to work in your hair and rinse out. The pomad is black, easy to get out the container and rub into your hair. The castor oil was light in color. Easy to use. Warning- make sure your read the instructions and label. This castor oil ain’t like others, it tingles a bit. Also if you do put some on your face or body, Do Not get near your eyes. They will burn. Something in there that is not for nowhere near your eyes. The tingling in your hair from the castor oil does last a while. Products were easy to use, they seem to work well with helping my hair.

Many years ago, I discovered that Indian hair products and ethnic hair products really try to solve hair problems. Many commercial hair conditioners, oils, etc aimed at Caucasian hair often have alcohol or strip the hair or just make it soft to brush.
If you want to FIX your hair, things like coconut oil, Amla, olive oil, batana oil, castor oil, etc is what you want to use.
I hope people don’t order this and assume their hair will magically sprout hair where it was completely bald before. The idea here is that you use good, high quality, moisturizing and nourishing ingredients which provide nutrients without destroying your hair and scalp so your hair can maximize growth. Just like our body, if you don’t provide what it needs or worse, HURT it, it won’t be healthy and grow. If damage is a concern for you, this product set is great!
First off, the smell is amazing. Wonderfully pepperminty. If you like peppermint, you are in luck! If you hate it, you will hate it! lol
The shampoo and conditioner set are nice. The shampoo doesn’t lather much because it doesn’t have those harsh chemicals which create a big lather like sulfates. You don’t want sulfates in your shampoo.
The oil is great. I love castor oil already, and the fact that this smells so wonderful is a plus. It isn’t as sticky as some castor oils and I found it was able to absorb better for me.
The pomade is also very moisturizing and a little goes a long way.
I love that they use a lot of natural and organic ingredients, and that the set is actually healthy for my hair. It fixes a problem and doesn’t just cover it up.
