But I had to return this because the smell is overwhelming. It’s too bad, because this is a premium product and always praised by the skincare industry. Just wondering why La Prairie decided to load it up with perfume that doesn’t disappear over time. It will stay with you all day. Not a good thing.

When applied leaves the skin bright and extremely soft, very delicate scent. Highly recommended.

I have used La Prairie for 30 years and occasionally,horrified by the amount I’m paying for skincare products, I try another reputable product. It will be okay for a short time but not in the same league as La Prairie and I go back to my original skincare programme. They are exceptional products and the Purifying Cream Cleanser is no exception. It leaves my skin cleansed and radiant and I cannot recommend it more highly.
