I got this for the hubby and let’s just say that he is a typical male and has zero facial anything. As in he still uses soap to wash his face. -_____- And that’s no matter how much the nagging wife (me) nags him to use something else. LOL
I got this and I used it on myself to test it and if the hubby says no. . .HELL NO. . .I have zero issues using the rest as I like the way it feels on my skin. My skin absorbed it well and it was very moisturizing for me as well. The lotion is very lightweight and I liked it a lot so hopefully, I can get the hubby to use it as we are both only getting older. lol
My 2 Cents! O_o –
I’ve been bugging my boyfriend to adopt even a basic skincare routine. This might be the moisturizer he’ll actually use. While we both prefer unscented products, the scent of this is light and unisex. It absorbs well and provides plenty of moisture for a daytime cream. You can definitely see the difference in his skin; I hope he’ll keep using it!

I got this for my husband, who has a non-existent skin care routine despite my nagging. After a few nights of applying this cream before bedtime (with lots of nudging), his verdict is that he likes how his skin feels the next morning – “hydrated.” This is a big win for him (and the naggy wife!). I tried some on my skin and I can tell this is a higher quality product. Not greasy, yet nourishing, light, but still emollient. If he ends up abandoning it due to his usual habits, I’m happy to take over the rest of the bottle.

I think this product is for everyone but the minimal looking tube might appeal to men. It doesn’t smell too masculine. I think it provides a good amount of moisture without feeling greasy or leaving a sticky film on my skin. My skin looks nice when I wake up. it does contain niacinamide, which can be an irritant for some people. I didn’t experience any irritation or breakouts from using this lotion.

I like the Lab Series Daily Rescue Energizing Face Lotion. It has some great qualities such as:
-Lightweight and absorbs easily.
-Light citrus scent.
-Leaves skin smooth and soft after applying.
-Well-known brand and great ingredients to include Ginseng, Caffeine and Niacinamide
This is a great men’s face lotion option. Recommend.

I got this lotion to try for my husband. His skin is dry but not overly sensitive. He didn’t like the feeling of lotion on his skin. So I decided to try it and I like it for myself. The scent is pleasing- even for a woman. I don’t want to smell like a man, but I don’t have a manly scent using this lotion. It is very lightweight and absorbs easily. I am hopeful to have him try it soon!

This is a familiar men’s brand and known for decent quality. Lab Series is owned by Estee Lauder, which provides prestigious beauty products to the world. It has been a while since using any lab series products but I was never disappointed in the past. Over their years I have been more focusing on the ingredients and making sure to purchase products that have exactly what I’m looking for rather than a mystery bottle from a brand name. This moisturizer is formulated using niacinamide at 4%. Niacinamide is technically a form of vitamin B that has been clinically proven to reduce fine lines, reduce the appearance of hyperpigmentation, and a host of other skin benefits. For most people it will take about 30 days to start to see visible results, from tests done during the clinical trials. So I would say to anyone that is trying to use with hopes of reducing fine line to be mindful of the time it will normally take before really showing what it can do.
When dispensed, this moisturizer has a great consistency that spreads easily. I really like the texture. It has a mild fragrance which is very subtle and fades quickly. The first time I used this I was a little bit unsure if I would like it because my skin seemed to harden shortly after applying. I think this is part due to the formula which includes emollients to help create a protective barrier on your skin and lock in the moisture. Other key ingredients in includes glycerin, for hydration, and caffeine that can help reduce puffiness. It also has some other ingredients to help in terms of anti-aging.
Overall this is a quality product from a esteemed brand and you can probably trust the ingredients as they are explained on the label.. I think it will take several weeks to start to show major improvements but it is going to be worth the wait. Keep in mind this moisturizer does not include any sunscreen, which does be applied right afterwards.
