I read reviews from different websites. I found curly hair people with a positive experience. I was very hopeful and excited to try the L’ange Hair AIRess 2-in-1. Unfortunately I did not work for my hair. Maybe due to my thick hair along with curly. I used a L’ange hair towel which I loved, and i used the L’ange Thermal Magique which I also liked (the only L’ange heat protection that was rated well on the Yuka app). I let my hair dry naturally to 70-80% and it still took me 30 minutes on low fan but high heat, when I turned up the heat it made my hair fly. I did separate into small sections like suggested. My hair still was very frizzy and did not become very straight and after 30 minutes my hair was still not completely dry. I gave up and finished with my blow dryer and used my hot iron. Very disappointed and I will be returning.

I was looking forward to using this hair dryer and straightener. It’s too big for my hand, hair and head. It is a great piece of equipment for use by a hair styler on a client at a salon. I find it difficult to hold because it is heavy. Works very well, however.

I have shoulder-length, wavy, thick, and frizzy hair. I dry and flat iron every time I wash. The instructions say to wait until your hair is about 70% dry before using. That would be an hour for me, so here is my first issue. I waited until it was about 50% dry and then tried it. I ran it through, over and over, on the highest air and heat with almost no noticeable change. After 15 minutes, my hair looked unchanged and was still quite damp. Also, my arm was getting tired because the thing is a behemoth. Maybe some people love this tool, but for me it was inefficient and ineffective. Bummer.

It manages to straighten your hair without giving it that flat, pasted-to-your-scalp look that most flat irons give.
