  1. Another crazy kitten lady

I’m a fan of previous L’anza products I’ve gotten, so I was excited to try this on my thick, dry, frizzy, color-treated, chlorine-damaged hair. I focus the shampoo at my roots where I’m oiliest. I focus the conditioner on my lengths, which are driest. After washing, my hair felt pretty “squeaky clean” and not very smooth, but the conditioner pulls it all together. I like the scent, which isn’t as strong and long-lasting in this product as other L’anza products I’ve used. The thing I really wish they’d change: Put the conditioner in the bigger bottle and shampoo in the smaller bottle. I ALWAYS use more conditioner than shampoo, and at this rate, I’ll run out of the conditioner and still have half a bottle of shampoo. Other than that, I have no complaints!

This helped my dry scalp a little bit but not to the extent I expected. It kinda worked better for hydration than most other shampoos bedsides bumble and bumble.

This shampoo is fine. It does its job of washing and cleaning my hair. I’ve washed with better shampoos though. It didn’t strip my hair of all its natural oils, but it didn’t leave my hair feeling soft and moisturized either. I didn’t get the benefits of a gentler shampoo. My hair didn’t dry in waves or curls. It dried a little frizzy. Since the shampoo didn’t strip my hair of all its natural oils, my hair didn’t dry super shiny and clean either. It’s a very mediocre shampoo. It might just not be the best shampoo for wavy or curly haired people. The conditioner on the other hand is exactly what I’ve been looking for. It’s a nice consistency. It’s not too thin or thick. It has excellent slippage which is probably why it detangles so well. It really covers and conditions every strand of hair that it’s applied to. It left the tips of my hair feeling soft and moisturized. I also tried the free packet of serum that came with the shampoo and conditioner. The serum was nice, but I prefer more natural leave in products. The conditioner is the best and it’s the best product out of all 3.

Ok I just have to be honest in how much I am enjoying all the product lines in the L’ANZA haircare line. Their shampoo/conditioners are awesooooome! My husband tried this set for his hair and he loved it too. The scent is nice and light, not overpowering or lingering at all. The shampoos all lather up well and a little goes a long way. The conditioner coats well and makes the hair soft and bouncy afterward. I love that the conditioner lids are all on the bottom, easy to get it out without having to whack it. Overall a win

I have used these twice, so an early results review. I have also used this brand before and really like their products, so I had high expectations.

Fragrance is very light. I prefer a very fragrant duo, but not a deal breaker. They smell good. After I shampoo, my hair does not feel soft at all. Which for a hydrating duo, I thought it wouldn’t feel that way. But after the conditioner….that’s when it all came together.

My hair was super soft but also very clean feeling. As a fine-haired girl, I liked that. Sometimes it’s hard to get both. I needed to add some volume spray to hold my curling iron curls (very straight hair) and with that combo, my hair stays curled and shiny all day. Again, from a hydrating duo I was nervous for curl fall.

If you are a straight-hair, fine-hair girl, you should try this. My hair is super dry, especially in this sun and heat. And this gave it some immediate life. It also says it offers heat protection. I still use one, but an extra layer is a great thing.

I have hair that really loves moisture so I’ve been trying a lot of products that tout moisturizing benefits. I have fine hair which is really hard to find moisturizing products for without weighing it down. I feel this kit would benefit someone with curls or thicker hair a little better. It felt like it was a bit much on my hair type. I thought I might be ok with this product because the before and after photos show a straight haired woman, but I honestly think it would be better for curly girlies. My hair felt moisturized, but weighed down.

L’ANZA Healing Moisture Hair Care Kit, Tamanu Cream Keratin Shampoo, Conditioner & Healing Strength Neem Hair Serum, Paraben Free & Sulfate Free, Gift Box for Soft, Smooth Hair (10.1/8.5 Fl Oz+Sample)

My hair needs moisture (according to my hair person). So I’ve been on the lookout for a good moisturizing duo. The shampoo has a nice lather. The first quarter-sized application lathered up slightly. There were suds, but not a lot of them. Sometimes using new shampoo, the lather just isn’t there. But I was happy that this one suds up the first round. I used a scalp brush and that helped it lather even more. I rinsed about 80% of it out of my hair and my oh my. The suds that were created after the second quarter sized dallop was worked in were A LOT. I used the scalp brush again, and my hair seemed so full of suds, it felt 3x the volume. My hair is waist length, but very thin. I can put all my hair into a ponytail, and it would only be the diameter of my thumb. I have no hair volume. But with all of the suds in my hair, it felt so thick.

After fully rinsing out the suds, my hair felt very straw like. Not smooth or soft. After using one round of conditioner, it did make it smoother. I use a wet comb in the shower a few minutes after applying the conditioner to work it through my hair and to get out some of the big tangles. The comb usually goes through really easily when my hair is coated in conditioner. The comb didn’t pull through my hair very easily, but the good news is that it didn’t pull out a lot of hair like sometimes the other shampoos and conditioners do.

The smell is light, with an almost menthol scent. It was not unpleasant. After blowdrying my hair with a spray in conditioner, my hair did seem overall shiny and soft after using this shampoo and conditioner.
