  • Precision Shaving: The Twig Razor features a fixed head at angle that mimics that of a cartridge razor. Unlike a traditional safety razor, which uses a double-edge blade, the Twig Razor only features a single exposed blade allowing for confidence and ease when shaving concave and tight areas
  • Maximum Control: Maintain greater control of your shave with the Twig Razor’s backweighted handle
  • Non-Slip Matching Stand: The Twig Stand is a matching, all-metal, weighted stand. It includes a silicone non-slip foot to keep it in place and proudly displays the razors between uses
  • Steel Blade Refills: Our 50-pack of blade refills includes, 50 Individually wrapped single-edge blade steel blades which are ready to use right out of the wrapper
  • Zero-Waste Shave with Blade Recycling Tin: Recycle your used blades in our Blade Recycling Tin. This blade bank bears a small opening on the top allowing you to safely store and recycle used razor blades. Once full, both the tin and blades can be recycled together for a zero-waste shave

Little bit a pricey but good quality

I never get a good shave from an electric razor. I have been using /trying many well known multi blade razors with replaceable cartridges but always thought there just had to be something better out there. I saw this unit on sale during Amazon Prime days and decided to give it a try. And, I’m glad I did. I get a great shave and since the handle only uses a half of a double edge blade the medium to long term use and ownership of this will be economical. I did purchase their shave oil and it’s fantastic. I recommend that as well.

Felt like the Thorn was too close of shave so I got the Twig which is not close enough. Want the Thorn back.

I love the Heavy feel and engineering of the products from this company. This is a great razor and you can put your own blades in buy some sharp ones that you like and stop wasting your money on the cartridges.

The razor itself is a nice weight, it’s comfortable on the hand, beautiful to look at, & easy enough to reload blades into… which is handy because the blades don’t last 1 leg. My first blade didn’t even last half of one calf before it was totally dull & refused to shave another hair. To put things into perspective I’m a 5’5″ & 120lbs female, my calves are small & my leg hair isn’t that coarse. I imagine a blade wouldn’t last a whole face of coarse beard hair.
I tried other included blades in case the first one was a fluke but they all performed about the same. After blowing through 6 blades for a Below-the-knee shave the results weren’t even good – lots of stays that didn’t get touched despite multiple passes, & not a close shave on the rest that did get shaved. May be better with different blades, but why make a fancy razor & sell it with crummy blades?

I will start by saying that I have used a couple different safety razors so far since switching over from a cartridge razor about two years ago.

I used the King C. Gillette first, and that was good, but the handle was slippery and the corners of the head weren’t the most comfortable on your face.

Next I ordered the Rockwell 6S and the head is more comfortable and is adjustable, but the matte finish made it feel like it kind of “suction cupped” to my face and caused more irritation than with the Gillette. Maybe it pulled more skin into the blade or something. When I bought it I just went off the reviews by everyone saying it was the best you could get for the money and that it was really smooth, but I beg to differ. I feel like it pulled more than the Gillette did with the same blades (Gillette Wilkinson Sword) and caused irritation in one spot under my chin.

Fast forward a year and a half of shaving with the Rockwell and now I’m trying this Leaf Twig. BAR NONE, BEST SHAVE I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE. It is so easy too, even with the more cartridge razor style angle. Much easier to get a baby butt smooth shave with this than my Rockwells or the Gillette. I have zero pulling, zero irritation, and was able to shave twice as fast on the very first shave with this as I could with my regular safety razors. All with the exact same blades. It cleans out super easy too. All in all, this is the best money I have ever spent on a razor. I will be selling the other ones and might even buy another Twig to use when I’m at work. Great work Leaf.

Just received Leaf Twig today but right when I opened it, I saw that the gold color were scrubbed off already in couple spots. Mind you that I just opened it brand new. Haven’t tried it yet but it would have been amazing to feel like I got my money’s worth for something that I paid $79 for.
