As a diver with long hair, it is usually a struggle to deal with my hair after the dive. My hair is sticky and tangled in everything. This is a total lifesaver, and it is also reef safe. It feels very nice in my hair and gives a nice amount of slip so my hair doesn’t feel sticky and tangled. It is easy to put up in a braid. I highly recommend this particular brand. I have tried other brands and I believe those are more geared towards chlorine this product worked amazing in high salinity water.

Usually after a week of scuba diving my hair is dry and a mess. But not this time!!! I applied the conditioner just before getting in the water, and then again once I got out. I know that’s overkill, but I really didn’t want my hair to fry. I will probably have this tube forever. You just need a tiny amount and it goes a long way. The best thing for me is that it doesn’t make y hair greasy, either looking that way or feeling. Just soft, calm hair.

This product did wonders for my bleached curly hair. It left my hair feeling soft after swimming in salt water for 6 days. Normally my hair gets extremely knotted and tangled but it was very easy to comb out after I showered. I put the product on my dry hair before I went to the beach and it was amazing. 10/10 would recommend.

i have only good things to say! been using almost everyday for about a week now, and my hair LOVES it! i have very long, thin, wavy hair and i was hoping it wasn’t going to be too heavy but just enough hydration, it exceeded my expectations! doesn’t weigh down my hair, smells good, gets rid of frizz without making hair look greasy, LOVE! also perfect for summer being that it is marine life safe, has uv protection, and all around nontoxic!

This SAVES your hair! AND saves the reefs! What else could you want?? If you scuba dive, swim (salt or chlorine) surf or spend anytime at the beach – you want this. My long and very chemically treated hair stays tangle free and healthy. I am an active water loving girl with long wavy hair (2b/c) that’s normally worn straight.
Best routine is to wet hair using cold fresh water (seals cuticle), apply conditioner (protects) and then put it up. I find my hair does best if I use a top bun or pony with hair ties every inch or so. Braiding just tangles and stresses hair more imo. Comb out using the Wet brush. Can’t live without this, especially on liveaboards. I also apply it dry as it protects my hair before getting it wet. My colors will still get brassy or dull but not as quickly. I still have to use purple shampoo for blonde and blue for brunette as often as I usually do.
Smell is fragrant but pleasing not too strong. Value is well – invaluable imo. Helps keep my hair soft. I have a bottle in my bathroom, travel bag, scuba bag, surf/beach bag and always bring enough to share.
And for the win this business is a small and woman owned! Bougie and product snob approved!
I’ve also used the sting relief, shimmer sunblock, mask defog (best defog there is) and can’t wait to try some of her other products. If you can – buy this at your local dive shop!
I have the large bottle and use it to fill the smaller bottles. One thing she could improve on is make the smaller bottle openings a little larger or screw top to make refill process easier.
