The Black Raven –
I was mostly intrigued by the calcium ion on this machine. I have mature skin, so adding a boost of calcium is beneficial. Most people hear calcium and instantly think of the means of strengthing their bones. Well, calcium does a lot of good things for your skin, too. I have used creams before with calcium, but this is my first time finding it in a form of light therapy. This lightweight machine supplies a variety of options for both skin and health-conscious individuals. I have included a photo of the color options and their benefits. I usually color cycle and add the calcium to ensure I don’t miss out on any potential advantages.
I have used other forms of light therapy, but I like the way this one is set up. It is very lightweight, folds up easily, and can be moved around effortlessly when needed. I can comfortably fit both my head and body underneath it. I primarily take advantage of this machine during naptime. I set the machine, and it is timed to run no longer than 60 minutes. You can choose your duration in 5 minute increments. Note: it’s advised to use this machine no more than 3 times a week and no more than 60 minutes per session. Also, some light blocking goggles were included. They are fairly comfortable and serve their purpose.
As far as results go, I have seen some subtle changes, but I’ve only been using it a month, so only time will tell. I do feel that with continued use, I’ll begin to see a more sizable difference. Light therapy can take time. In regard to quality, it is constructed well. I had no problems operating it. All buttons are controlled by touch, but the buttons dont light up very well. It’s hard to see them. This is something that could stand to be improved. I also would have liked seeing a rechargeable option on it for a completely cordless experience. Aside from that, I really enjoy using it!

I must admit that I was skeptical about LED light therapy before speaking with my primary care physician. She told me there are legitimate benefits when utilizing LED light therapy. This machine is super easy to use with its simple, but responsive touch screen button. I really like the variety of light therapy colors offered here including a calcium setting. The device looks and feels well made and easily folds away for storage. I like the way the lights envelop your entire face with the 180 degree light array. I have only been using this device in my skincare routine briefly, but have found some positive impact. Overall, well made and easy to use device that I would recommend.
