If you’re not already using Lira skincare and are considering, now is the time. I use this at night over other moisturizers and serums to wake up glowing and hydrated. Feels oily but will soak in and not cause breakouts.

I don’t usually use face oil in my routine because I have acne prone skin, but I wanted to give this a try. I don’t think I have overly dry skin, but I found that I had a hard time smoothing this across my skin. It says to only use 1-3 drops, but it doesn’t spread at all onto my face. In a good way, it’s because it absorbs so quickly…but the negative is I can’t really apply it all over and if I use as many drops as I’d need to get it all over my face, I’m afraid then I’d get oily.
I decided to instead use it on my neck and chest area, as well as on the back of my hands. Same experience, but at least I can use more and not worry about acne.
I don’t think I would try this face oil again for that reason. Or maybe I would add it into a moisturizing cream.

I have used many different beauty oils, creams and serums in my lifetime. My initial impression of this new to me line is that the heavy glass bottle is identical to my Lancome bottles. They use the same dropper dispensing method. The product itself reminds me of Kiehl’s midnight recovery oil only with a bit of glow to it. It definitely goes on as an oil but the warmth of your skin helps it absorbs fairly quickly without any lingering sticky feel. I did feel as if my skin was nourished but as with other oils I don’t like using this as a daily moisturizer. I don’t think it lasts long enough on my dry skin. I definitely didn’t think it did anything for minimizing pores. I mainly use oils on days I am not wearing makeup. I like to use them for a light glow after my other moisturizer has absorbed. Considering I see using this product in the same manner I am not sure I would want to pay this much consistently. I am sure someone can get by using only an oil, but for me I can’t use it on a daily basis. I have to supplement with something richer every so many days. If you are trying an oil for the first time I recommend tapping into your skin rather than rubbing.

Oil absorbed quickly into skin. I applied a few drops and patted in the product. My skin felt more nourished and moisturized without any greasy feeling. It was much more lightweight than expected. For the winter months, I might actually need something a bit heavier. There is a fruity/floral type of scent that I do not mind but not sure if I like either. Product is expensive for a small bottle.

Anyone with a skincare routine has had something like this before. I have amassed a decent collection myself. Is this different from the others? Maybe marginally. Is it worse in any way? Certainly not.
I like how it doesn’t leave a lot of grease pretty quickly. The skin absorbs it well, and the scent is pleasant enough. I use this without makeup mainly because it’s easy to use and feels pretty good for a while. I’m not sure if I would go out of my way to buy this again to replace other oils I already have and use, but certainly worth a try if you’re experimenting. Everyone’s skin is different, but nobody in my family had any adverse reactions to it.
It certainly isn’t a ‘bargain-bin’ product and the tag does show it. But it works as well as any other oil I have, so worth a shot if you’re not happy with some detail of the current oil you have. 5 stars for a nice face oil!

This is a great moisturizing oil but a little too greasy for me to use during the day. While it does absorb fairly quickly I felt it made my skin look a little oily as opposed to “illuminating” (and I do tend to have dry skin). I also found it made my foundation pill up even though I gave the oil plenty of time to get absorbed. For me I find it’s best to use at bedtime and then my skin is nice and hydrated when I wake up. It has a mild, pleasant scent.
I also found this oil is great to use with my high frequency facial wand. I use the wand on my face and neck about 3 times a week. What I do is apply a thin layer of the oil and then use my facial wand. This oil helps the wand glide smoothly over my face and neck.
I will definitely continue to use this but not sure I’d order again because it’s a little too pricey for me for the amount you get.

This oil comes in a bottle that looks fancy at first glance, but feels cheap. I like the interesting dispenser, but it’s kind of hard to use during my daily routine without washing my hands between serums. The smell is kind of like plants. I’m not really a fan. But the oil feels nice and makes my skin feel moisturized so I’ll continue using it but I won’t buy it again because it’s too expensive.
