I purchase amp from living proof regularly because I like that it adds texture to my hair without feeling greasy. A little bit goes a long way and it does last a long time so the price seems high but since it lasts I guess it is a comparable price. Will continue to use it.

This looked good immediately after I applied it but within minutes the volume it provided was totally gone. I gave it multiple tries just in case I wasn’t using it correctly but it’s an absolute no for fine hair like mine. I gave it a 3 rating only because it smells nice and isn’t sticky but it’s a zero as far as adding any root lift for fine hair.

I don’t know why I continue to order this. It continues to get greasier every time. Two years ago this product was great! The texture was a very light almost wax that added tons of volume to your hair. Now-it’s like a palm full of grease. I kept hoping with every order they would miraculously correct the formula. No such luck.

I saw this product on an Instagram video. The person styling her hair said it was her favorite for adding body. It is creamy and really does ramp up the volume but I like my hair shiny and this dulls the shine. Most of them do so my fault.
