Price/value is always going to be subjective, and this one is no different – cant assert if any of the purported benefits can be seen with consistent use of many jars, but the initial impressions are all good. Very light exfoliation from the sugar, gel-like consistency that is easy to spread and very moisturizing, and a pleasant smell (seems from the added parfum than the flower extract ,though it seems to have floral tones). The fragrance fades away quickly, but the moisturization seem to work . Easy to rinse off and leaves no films. overall, a good product with no harsh chemical and gentle exfoliation.

The scent and feel of this is very nice! It does smell like avocados but in a fancy way which is interesting since I never smelt a avocado scent like this before. Its not overpowering nor does it give me a headache.
This came in a sturdy glass jar. It survived being shipped in simply a bubble envelope! The box it was packaged in is thin so it did open during shipment. I feel they should have used a more sturdy box for a glass this heavy and expensive!
The body scrub isn’t abrasive. Its a thick consistency with some grit in it. I’m actually not sure what this grit stuff is. Most of the ingredients are in chemical terms so it doesn’t ring any bells for me on what they are. So I would assume its some synthetic material than a natural ingredient.
The instructions says to use it on dry hands and body which I find kind of difficult to do so I used some water. Its a nice scrub overall! Really enjoyed using it!

This is a good product. You use it dry then rinse it off. It smells good and applies easily. I don’t know if it is more effective than just soap because it doesn’t really feel like it’s scrubbing, but it doesn’t irritate my skin either. I’m happy with it

Overall I really liked using this body scrub. It’s not super abrasive but I feel like it exfoliates well. The smell is a little odd but not bad. I will definitely keep using this as a scrub before shaving or applying lotion.

I’d never used a dry scrub before and didn’t realize this was one when I got it. I was really impressed by how well it exfoliated and moisturized my skin especially compared to some other sugar scrubs I’ve used. Maybe it’s the use on dry skin part that made such a big difference? In any case, I’m a fan!
The scent isn’t bad, but it’s definitely a little … unique. I didn’t mind it at all. Unlike some other scrubs I’ve used, this one didn’t make the floor of my shower dangerously slippery when I rinsed it off. The scrub particles were firm enough to exfoliate but didn’t make my skin feel scratched up, just refreshed.
Bottom line: this is a great product by a great brand, and is definitely worth checking out!

The packaging of this is so sleek and high quality! Its a very interesting almost gel kind of texture its not like a traditional body scrub its very smooth and more gel like without any rough sugar texture. The smell isn’t bad but its sort of earthy and its cool how you can feel the scrub get warm between your hands and on your skin as well. Its a very unique and interesting product that does leave my skin very soft and smooth but I can’t say that it’s better or worth spending more money on instead of a regular body scrub.

I used to turn up my nose at the body scrubs that started with dry skin, but count me as a convert: this L’OCCITANE Artichoke Body Scrub instructs you to start with dry skin, apply it to areas of the body that concern you, and massage it in with circular motions. Then rinse off in the shower.
I did this with an annoyed sniff. Arms and torso, check. Upper legs, check. Shoulders and back, I groaned. Sure, why not? The scrub felt like a jam with tons of unmelted sugar granules in it. It was a profoundly sticky experience. But the scrub stayed on my skin while I was massaging it; nothing dripped onto my bathroom floor.
And when I rinsed it off? Oh my! My skin was so soft and moisturized! And of course, exfoliated. I have switched my story. I love this exfoliator! Bring on all exfoliators with dry application!
The scent is a bit strange, since it does smell like…artichokes and sugar. Try thinking about that. It’s not unpleasant, but I wouldn’t exactly call it a fantastic culinary pairing. But since this isn’t a culinary experience, try not to think about it. It’s more of a…spa experience, which makes it a more abstract olefactory game.
The only drawback to this scrub is the price point, which is fairly high. But for a splurge, I would highly recommend it. Your skin will be very smooth.
