  1. PEBBLYPOO

A lot of people said things like it dried out their hair, it didn’t sud, or that it left their hair greasy.

💥 it doesn’t dry out your hair so much as it removes build up of oil and products. If your hair had a lot of oils built up, or it was naturally dry but you had lots of products used regularly. When this is removed. Yes your hair will feel different. (Think of it more like this: if it felt the same. It didn’t do anything. Did it?$

💥 it didn’t sud…. It’s removing build up, it’s not so much a shampoo as it just removes the products and hair oils. It cleans. Deeply. I used about 2x the amount normally used of shampoos and not a lot of suds (if we compare it. It would be like rating of 2 vs 8/9 for suds for clarifying vs regular shampoos). As long as your hair is cleaned up, it doesn’t have to sud!

💥 if it left your hair greasy then something went wrong. Did you fully wet your hair? Did you fully get the product all the way to the scalp for the whole head? This product is really runny, so make sure you apply it all over the head and not just in some spots like a shampoo. It doesn’t sud well so it won’t disperse as easily all over the scalp. Really massage it in to the scalp to clean deeply.

As you can see I also got the bond shampoo and conditioner line. Even after the double wash (clarify and bond shampoo) hair wasn’t dry. It was different. It felt harder, which is fine. After the bond conditioner hair felt better. The hair will feel different as you removed the product build up. (When you add things like leave in conditioners your hair feels soft and silky… so when you remove it of course it won’t feel that way….)

The bond shampoo and conditioner did its thing well

I treated it to OUAI hair gloss all over, plus dime of JOHN FRIEDA mid to ends, and RAWSUGAR Hair masque (I do leave in I don’t wash out) about 3 black pepper seeds worth and I just spread on palm and tap my hair all over with the tacky masque and once I’ve gotten a little bit on all the hair I then run my fingers through and give it a gentle massage without rubbing it into the scalp. It should dissolve right away and you are left with very clean, light, hydrated hair that smells amazing and it doesn’t grease up over night. I can get away with nice smelling clean hair for 2-2.5 days before I need to wash. And this comes from
someone that generally washed their hair daily until she found just the right combo of products and quantity to use.

I’ve tried other bonding products and hair masks, and I find this mask to be very average. It smells nice, a bit strong, and it stays in my hair. When applied, it does require more time to be spread over hair, but overall, it’s a good mask, but nothing super extraordinary.

I love love love this L’Oréal line, I have the shampoo, conditioner, and bond concentrate and they’re all phenomenal! I’ve repurchased this probably 8-10 times and will continue to do so, this line has helped my hair so much, as someone who has bleached and severely damaged my hair , this has helped my curls reform , it’s feel stronger and healthier than ever. I use this with other higher end treatments for more regular use and it’s the perfect inbetween hair treatment. It smells amazing, you feel the results after one wash, it’s great for tangles and it almost an exact dupe for the redkin acidic bonding treatment, I’m pretty it literally is the same product and works the same for such an affordable price!

  4. Diptanil

One of the best conditioners I have used ever! I don’t have colored hair but still use this. It leaves my hair feeling moisturized and silky without weighing it down. The scent is not overwhelming, a very nice rose scent. I would purchase this again.

  5. PEBBLYPOO

    Conditions great without oily feeling

The conditioner is a creamy consistency and it does an OK job conditioning my hair. It doesn’t leave my hair as soft as my previous conditioner does but I don’t regret trying it out. I wanted to try it out because it’s advertised that it rebuilds hair bonds but I don’t see anything on the ingredient list that does that and my hair didn’t feel stronger after using it.

I used a different shampoo since I didn’t buy the shampoo for this and my hair still felt silky smooth! I wasn’t expecting much from this conditioner since the ingredients didn’t really look too exciting, but I guess it helps that it’s low ph, which I’m pretty sure is the whole point of this. I’ve been intrigued to try the Redken version, but since the ingredient list is practically identical, I thought I’d just save money and buy this instead and I’m sooo glad I did. Smells really nice too!

I can’t really compare this and Redken ABC conditioner in terms of the softness, but I imagine the difference would be extremely subtle. If you’ve been eyeballing the Redken ABC line, I recommend giving this a try instead and save some money since the ingredients and the concentration of citric acid are identical.

To preface, I have fine, wavy/curly (2C/3A) hair. It’s bleached and I occasionally use heat (once every week or two) so it does have damage. I wash my hair every 3 days or so, rotating between this line, the Glossing line, and an occasional clarifying shampoo.

I started using this shampoo and conditioner a few months ago, along with some of the other EverPure products and I love it. This one and the Glossing are my absolute favourites. Both smell incredible, and moisturize really well. I find the Glossing line a bit heavier so if you have finer hair you might prefer this one, but honestly both are great. I have pretty damaged, dry hair and both moisturize really well without making my hair greacy. The smell also lingers in my hair for a few days which I love.
I do want to note that this will not reduce existing damage like other bond builders like K18 or Olaplex do. But I do find it helps maintain the current health of my hair and reduce the look of breakage.

    TLDR:
    – Smells great and scent lasts for days
    – Moisturises without weighing my hair down
    – Will NOT reduce breakage, but will help maintain current hair health and reduce look of existing breakage.

I can’t believe I finally found a conditioner that truly moisturizes without making your hair greasy or heavy. A small amount is enough for above average thick hair, it makes it very manageable and soft. It has a light scent to it which doesn’t linger and therefore doesn’t make your hair smell funky on the 2nd and 3rd day. I already repurchased it and will continue to do so. I will also try it in combination with the shampoo, I have been using it with a different brand shampoo up til now, but it still worked great. I should also mention that I have sensitive scalp that starts flaking and itching when coming in touch with products that have harsh chemicals in it, and this conditioner does not cause any irritation on my scalp. I also noticed less split ends despite my consistent use of hot tools. It does not leave residue or silicone build up on the hair. It pairs well with other brands leave in conditioners, heat protectants etc. I hope they never discontinue this line and will add a mask and leave in conditioner to the line.

This is just as good as the bond strengthening conditioners that cost 4-5x as much. My hair has never been softer.

  13. Maria C.

I love the scent of this L’Oréal conditioner, and the matching shampoo is great, but I’m a bit disappointed with the conditioner itself. It doesn’t do much to detangle my hair, and it doesn’t leave it as soft as I expected. I was hoping for better results.
