  1. Shawn

Love it! I didn’t want to spend $50 on a shampoo I use once a week, if that. I heard great things about L’Oreal on social media, this shampoo in particular. I’m super happy with this purchase. I have fine, straight hair that I use a moderate amount of products on to keep full and with volume, especially in this humid Midwest summer. This shampoo gives me hair that “clean slate” it needed to bounce back after these heavier products.

And it smells good too! Would recommend. I use this, no wet conditioner and a leave-in protein bonding serum once and week and it has made a huge difference in keeping my hair healthy and with less-breakage.

Love this! I’ve used a few diff types of clarifying shampoo-this one I’ve liked the best for both my husband and my blond long, dyed hair. We both were loving in Phoenix and had terrible hard water plus I dyed my hair! He was getting bumps on his head and my hair was so dry! We use this at least once a month – easy to use – effective – great price! Scent is nice and not too girly or boyish so anyone can use! It does the job and cleans your hair well – whether you want to get hard water and crud out of it or prep for a hair dying session. We recommend it!

A lot of people said things like it dried out their hair, it didn’t sud, or that it left their hair greasy.

💥 it doesn’t dry out your hair so much as it removes build up of oil and products. If your hair had a lot of oils built up, or it was naturally dry but you had lots of products used regularly. When this is removed. Yes your hair will feel different. (Think of it more like this: if it felt the same. It didn’t do anything. Did it?$

💥 it didn’t sud…. It’s removing build up, it’s not so much a shampoo as it just removes the products and hair oils. It cleans. Deeply. I used about 2x the amount normally used of shampoos and not a lot of suds (if we compare it. It would be like rating of 2 vs 8/9 for suds for clarifying vs regular shampoos). As long as your hair is cleaned up, it doesn’t have to sud!

💥 if it left your hair greasy then something went wrong. Did you fully wet your hair? Did you fully get the product all the way to the scalp for the whole head? This product is really runny, so make sure you apply it all over the head and not just in some spots like a shampoo. It doesn’t sud well so it won’t disperse as easily all over the scalp. Really massage it in to the scalp to clean deeply.

As you can see I also got the bond shampoo and conditioner line. Even after the double wash (clarify and bond shampoo) hair wasn’t dry. It was different. It felt harder, which is fine. After the bond conditioner hair felt better. The hair will feel different as you removed the product build up. (When you add things like leave in conditioners your hair feels soft and silky… so when you remove it of course it won’t feel that way….)

The bond shampoo and conditioner did its thing well

I treated it to OUAI hair gloss all over, plus dime of JOHN FRIEDA mid to ends, and RAWSUGAR Hair masque (I do leave in I don’t wash out) about 3 black pepper seeds worth and I just spread on palm and tap my hair all over with the tacky masque and once I’ve gotten a little bit on all the hair I then run my fingers through and give it a gentle massage without rubbing it into the scalp. It should dissolve right away and you are left with very clean, light, hydrated hair that smells amazing and it doesn’t grease up over night. I can get away with nice smelling clean hair for 2-2.5 days before I need to wash. And this comes from
someone that generally washed their hair daily until she found just the right combo of products and quantity to use.

Title says it all! I’m after trying soooooo many different high end ones as well. It smells really good and like high end !

  5. PEBBLYPOO

To preface, I have fine, wavy/curly (2C/3A) hair. It’s bleached and I occasionally use heat on it so it has damage. I use a lot of silicone products like the EverPure Glossing line, the EverPure Strengthening line, and a few leave-in products from Garnier’s Sleep & Skine line. I wash my hair every 3 days or so, and I use this about every 3 weeks.

I’ve ONLY used the shampoo from this line as a clarifying conditioner just doesn’t seem to make sense to me. I’m not a chemist so take my opinion with a grain of salt, but I’d personally prefer using another moisturizing conditioner after this instead of the clarifying conditioner.

If you’re looking for a super deep cleansing shampoo, this likely isn’t the product for you. But for those who want a clarifying shampoo on the gentler side, this is a great option. It cleanses a lot more than regular shampoo, but it wont dry out your hair like more intense clarifying shampoos (like Neutrogena anti-residue) will.
The only real con I’ve found with this is that it doesn’t smell as nice as the other EverPure lines do. It’s not a bad smell by any means. It has a nice citrusy scent. It’s just not as nice as the others. But if you follow up with a nice smelling conditioner, it’s really not an issue.

    TLDR:
    – Gentler than most clarifying shampoos (way less drying)
    – Does clarify well, but not as much as more intense ones
    – Smells nice, but not as nice as the other EverPure products
    – The “clarifying conditioner” sounds useless

Loved this product! I do not have color treated hair but still love how clean and gentle this product is in my hair with once a week use.

I got this as a “pre” cleanse to help with scalp build up based on a social media post. When I first opened the bottle I was a bit disappointed in the consistency. It’s very runny, similar to the Paul Mitchell Shampoo 2, which I just prefer a thicker viscosity with less chance of accidentally spilling it. It does smell very good though.

But the results were very surprising to me. My hair has never been this soft without using heating devices. I have well water that is very hard, I honestly didn’t even realize this was formulated to counteract the hard water but immediately realized it worked to do so when my hair felt so silky it made me re read the bottle.

I recently had to put a ton of hairspray & mousse in my hair so I used this to try to get it all out. After my hair dried I could still smell the mousse so I’m not sure that it’s spectacular at getting hair product build up.

Si no quieren pagar por productos de alta gama, este es el mejor.

L’Oreal Paris Clarify Sulfate-Free Shampoo has been a lifesaver for my hair! After a summer full of swimming and sun exposure, my hair dried out like never before. I started using this shampoo a few days a week, and it’s been a great addition to my routine. It really gets rid of all the chemical buildup from chlorine and leaves my hair feeling so much cleaner and healthier. I love that it’s sulfate-free, gentle, and still gives me beautiful hair without stripping it. Plus, it’s very reasonably priced!

  10. Alexa

I love this shampoo for a clearing of product build up or to brighten your color its paraben free and smells fresh and clean also has Vitamin C so thats always a plus in anything .

  11. Anon

I have hard well water and this shampoo lifted all the excess build up out of my hair and made it extremely manageable and soft.

  12. Amazon Customer

This is a great clarifying shampoo! Also smells great. I have very hard, well water and need to use a clarifying shampoo at least once a week. I see and feel a noticeable difference in my hair each time I use this on my hair. Nothing is going to get the iron out of my hair 100%, that won’t happen until I’m regularly washing my hair in better water, but in the meantime…this clarifying shampoo has helped better than any other brand I’ve used in the past. Definitely recommend.

Works well, I use this after my hair extension tape remover and it definitely helps get any leftover build up off. Good price too
