Just used this product for the first time. My hair feels well conditioned and clean, so points for that. However, the perfume smell was so strong my eyes were stinging in the shower. A warning that this is heavily scented would be appreciated, as I would not have wasted my money.

First of all, lemme address the odor other reviewers mentioned. It smells like Chanel No5….and it very light. It isn’t at all overwhelming. Maybe those women are pregnant and have hypersensitive nostrils at the moment. I get it – I couldn’t smell dog food without gagging while I was pregnant. Anyhoo, the bottles are big. The odor is fresh and clean. It doesn’t weight down my hair, nor make it look greasy. I have blonde/gray hair and everything makes it look greasy. My hair is soft and flowy. The curls are back.

I was true to Nexxus curl define for some time but they recently discontinued that product line. I tried the LUS love your curls set before this and that product line was far too heavy and weighed my hair down no matter how thoroughly I rinsed. This is lightweight, moisturizing and leaves my curls hydrated, soft and tangle free. The scent is quite fragrant but smells very good – like high end perfume, so I’m not a bit put off by it myself.
