I agree with some of the reviewers here: it seems okay on the first day but by the second and third day after use, my hair feels greasy. I have very fine greying hair with dry ends and the sunflower oil version of Elvive in the orange bottle was FABULOUS. of course, now that one is discontinued so I can’t get it anymore. I’m still searching for a replacement and this is not it. As for the nice smell, yeah, it’s okay but I don’t like my hair to reek of perfume so I prefer a paler scent. Elvive does tend to go heavy on scent. So yeah, it works but I have to wash my hair twice as often which is not my goal.

I have very fine hair with irish curls. My hair tends to be chronically dry and frizzy when I use most products. Most moisturizing products are to heavy and make my hair weigh down and get greasy. With this so far every use I have had a good hair day. Not only that but my hair is soft and shiny with minimal frizz if any when I air dry or blow dry while still retaining volume and not weighing my hair down. It’s also become much easier to detangle. Bonus points smells amazing!!! 100/10 new holy grail

and on top of that I have Lupus so that tends to make my hair appear dry and damaged no matter what I do or don’t. It’s a real bummer…I have to work really hard at getting it to look healthy and to get it to behave. I was using Loreal TR5 leave in or rinse out conditioner in the black tub and it works amazing…it’s just that my hair gets used to product after a few months and I gotta switch it up from time to time. After reading the reviews on this stuff I figured why not, both shampoo and conditioner were about $10. What really struck me at first was the smell. I love it! It’s like a clean scent perfume or a fresh linen scent which I adore. When I worked up a lather in my hair I could feel that nice slip sensation as I used it. When I got to the conditioner I could feel the same hydrating slip and knew this was going to work out great. With most products I still get a bit of frizz when I air dry but this stuff made that kinda vanish. I see a lot of shine and free flow as I write this. I touch it and it feels soft and looks healthier already. Another amazingly good product by Loreal. Will definately be back for more!

My hair was so dry and I was looking for a shampoo/conditioner to put some life back into it. I came across the Loreal Elvive line and decided to try this one. First of all it smells amazing. A few reviews said it was too strong but I don’t think it is. It’s a very light floral scent. Once I shampooed and conditioned my hair I could already feel a difference before I even got out of the shower. After I dried my hair it was so soft and shiny that I couldn’t believe that this was the same lifeless hair just prior to my shower. Overall I absolutely recommend if your hair needs some added life!

I really like the smell ..it smells wonderful, hydrated soft sleek hair..I do not like that after a day or two my scalp would get so oily ..so it’s not for oils scalps but people with dry scalps it’s wonderful. Easy to use in the shower, rinses clean, lightweight bottles, seal is good,

The shampoo and condition and plumping serum works great for detangling long half straight half curly hair. My ends were easy to unstick. Scent is good and subtle. Easy to use process. Hair feels moisturized and clean. Didn’t overly volumize. Pretty good. Will buy again. I think purple removes red tones to blonde highlights for my hair. No frizz.

I love the scent and the feel of this excellent condition. My dry, course hair just drinks it up and it leaves my hair super soft, reducing both frizz and split ends. This well-priced conditioner leaves my hair feeling terrific and smelling delicious.

This is the most affordable and best smelling conditioner. I have thick long hair and it works so well. I’ve used salon conditioners forever and this is my favorite drugstore hair product!
