I used this color on my dark hair, dyed with Loreal red earlier. The area where my hair was natural became a nice shade of brown but the previously red area did not catch the brown so well. It is not that visible and it looks nice overall. I have long and thick hair and I used 2 packs of this. Maybe one more would have worked?

I try to color my own hair between hair salon visits and have tried many different hair colors– this is the best. My hair looks so natural and shiny. I love the color. I also love the simplicity of using this product. I can do my whole head- or just touch up the roots. It does not burn or have a horrible ammonia smell like other hair color. It feels gentle on my hair and also washes out easily.
In all it is the best I have used. It also did not dry out my hair like others and came with a big tube of conditioner and a small tube of shampoo–how cool is that.
