I got this for my sister to try out because she is always having issues trying to find the right shampoo that works for her hair. She has very thick hair, and curly/wavy. The pump on this shampoo is really nice, you’re able to easily measure out how much you need and it comes out all in one pump. The shampoo has a light scent that I can’t quite put my finger on, it’s like a light fruity and floral scent of some kind. It’s a pearly white consistency and it does lather up really well even though it lacks sulfates and parabens.
I had my sister use it for a couple weeks and she said that it’s very moisturizing and maybe too moisturizing for her thick hair. She did say it tangled less and was easier to brush out of the shower. After using it for a couple weeks she said it’s going to be more so a shampoo that she alternated throughout the week with her other shampoo so she doesn’t get buildup and just too much moisture.
When I think of L’Oréal I don’t think of expensive and salon shampoo, but that’s what this is and that’s why it’s so expensive. It’s not your typical shampoo that you would grab off the shelves at your local store. This is more of a professional shampoo with higher quality ingredients and that comes with a price.
Overall my sister said this has been a good shampoo for curly hair and would probably work best with someone that has thinner or “normal” hair versus thick hair.

Most products that moisturize hair weighs it down, this product cleans, moisturizes and doesn’t weigh hair down. I also don’t need to follow washing with conditioners

I have wavy/curly, fine hair. This product is lightweight and I get compliments when I’m out & about. The trick is to not towel dry your hair, and put it on the ends, squeeze and scrunch the ends, not on top of the head, to avoid it weighing the hair down. I let my hair naturally dry. If you need to use a dryer, use a diffuser to get the look you want.

After reading all of the positive reviews I was excited to try this on my wavy/curly hair. The product was extremely drying (added no moisture to my hair) and I had to use a ton of the product to get just a tiny amount of lather. It did nothing for curls or tangles, and may have made the tangled worse. I had to follow up with a very emollient conditioner and a mask. I wish I could return it. Waste of good money.

I have curly hair. I used it because it doesn’t have harsh chemicals. My hair salon always use this shampoo. They yellow one. But sometime in between washes I like to use dandruff shampoo to keep it clean for a longer time.
