Love this curl reviver! It smells great and is lightweight. My curls look good after using it and my hair doesn’t feel crunchy or stiff.
HAIR BACKGROUND:
My hair is thick, curly, and over 50% gray with no processing (dyes). My hair is medium length; past my shoulders, and the curl pattern varies (mostly 2A & 2B) with the curliest (3A) being at the nape of my neck. I tend to wash my hair every other day, and always condition (sometimes washing with conditioner), often using a leave-in conditioner as otherwise my hair can appear fuzzy and dry.
USING THIS PRODUCT:
If I roll out of bed and don’t want to wash my hair, this product I reach for to look more put together. I have previously used another curl reviver that I thought was great too, but it leaves my hair feeling heavier and stiffer so this one is the new favorite. Plus the scent which I would liken a little bit to a botanically infused cotton candy is really nice. I can see where some might not like it though, as if you are wearing another scent the two may compete.
My daughter, who has even curlier hair than I do, loves the product as well. However, she wore some cologne and while the two seemed to play well together, she was heavily scented for the day and the tipping point was this spray.
CONCLUSION:
If you are looking for a lightweight curl reviver spray that controls frizziness, performs as expected, and is well priced, this is a great option. But if you are sensitive to scents, you may find this one overwhelming.
