I’ve been platinum for years (I’m 71) with short hair and when I saw the picture of the results with this product I decided to try something different. Maybe because I was blonde underneath the red wasn’t glaring, it was subtle but beautiful and I really liked it. Well, I must not have been the only one because since then one box has gone as high as $18.00 (usually$9.00) and they’re selling 3 boxes at a time for a really high fee. Not just Amazon but on the internet you literally cannot find it. Things may have calmed down at this writing but I have not seen it. So, if you’re interested and can find it, follow the color guidelines, (I don’t think it works on darker hair) best of luck. Enjoy the results.

It’s very expensive but the colour is wonderful. Can’t find it anywhere else in Ontario.Canada. When amazon supplies get low, the price goes through the roof.

I’ve used this product and this color for years and it is always consistent in terms of color saturation. It leaves your hair nourished and looking and feeling natural. Great product.

Great colour but this formula is watery and does not adhere to the hair well enough for gray coverage. Colour washed off my gray within 1 week.

This is a beautiful color (8RB), but washed out almost totally after three washes – and I waited four days after coloring to be sure the color actually had a chance to set into my hair. After the second time I colored, with the same result, I called the L’Oreal help line. They told me they had not manufactured that product in literally years, and told me that purchasing the product from the outside vendor on the Amazon website was not a good idea, as there was no telling if it was even authentic, since L’Oreal hasn’t made it in years! IF YOU DO NOT BUY “FROM AMAZON AND FULFILLED BY AMAZON”, YOU ARE TAKING A BIG CHANCE. Plus paying $25 for a box of hair color that should sell for about half that much is another big tell that there’s a problem somewhere. L’Oreal advised me NOT to buy from this vendor again, and I am bringing my concerns to Amazon’s attention as well.

I get many compliments on this haircolor. I’m scared that it might be discontinued and and not be able to buy it anywhere else. Nurisse discontined it so L’Oreal is the only one carrying it now.

This color turned out absolutely gorgeous! It was all over color the perfect amount for my hair that was just about shoulder length at the time. Definitely would recommend I wish I remembered to take a picture.
