  1. Lippielove

Wow, I’m not a newbie to home peels but this pad packs a bit of a punch! First of all, loved the lavender and soft green tea scent as opposed to other peels that sometimes smell vinegar-y and, secondly, love the plush pad the peel came in as opposed to thinner and, sometimes, scratchier materials. I would recommend to cut the pad in half if you are a newbie to home peels or have sensitive skin because there was enough solution for me to thoroughly saturate my face and neck with 3 passes. It was ever so slightly stingy in a couple of areas where I had purged some pores earlier. My skin was shiny and a bit sticky afterwards. I did my regular night routine and woke up to brighter and smoother skin with some slight peeling around my nose and a bit on one cheek. No big deal at all but there were still some flakes after my morning wash and skincare routine. I should have used a toner and cotton pad to gently buff the remaining flakes first before applying sunscreen but you live and learn.
I will probably not use more often than once a week as it’s quite potent. These are MUCH more convenient than my other home peels which I leave on for 10 minutes and look like I’ve smeared blood or berry juice on my face. Highly recommend!

These made my skin feel like it was burning every time I tried them (2-3 times). My skin became inflamed and red. I don’t know if I was allergic, sensitive, or got a bad batch, but I cannot recommend these. Other chemical exfoliants have not burned like this. I can’t speak to the efficacy of these since I washed them off immediately each time.

  3. Health and Beauty lover

I like the effectiveness of these peels. The fact that they’re individually wrapped makes them easier to travel with or to take to the gym. At home, I do find that the sheets are really generously sized, and covers a much larger area than my face. They do leave a slightly tacky feel though, so I would normally wipe the excess on other parts of my body, but it does feel a bit uncomfortable for those other areas to be sticky. On the whole, I like these. I think I would almost prefer to have it in bottle form though, because it feels a bit wasteful to use the individually wrapped packages each day.

I have purchased this product more than once. It is great for travel – one use packaging. It is very calming to my sensitive skin at the end of a travel day or after a workout.

  5. Tiffany

Very effective. It smooths skin nicely – fine lines seen less noticeable and skin looks more radiant.

  6. Amazon Customer

I love that these comes individually packaged. Great for traveling anywhere. Now, they do sting a bit so if you have sensitive skin, keep that in mind. I have notice my skin especially on my forehead and chin are smoother. I tend to break out on my chin. So far so good. Highly recommend.

Until recently, I had to buy M-61 products at Blue Mercury, which was fine until the local store closed. Now I can order them on Amazon, along with the thousands of other items I buy here.

M-61 is one of those sleeper brands. They don’t test on animals, they avoid the nasty ingredients you sometimes find in skincare products (parabens, phthalates, sulfates), and the products are mostly vegan. They also don’t resort to flashy campaigns or celebrity endorsements, which means you can buy quality products at uninflated prices.

I like this product more than I’d expected. I use it post-shower, and the resulting tingle lets me know that it’s working. After that, I apply retin-a cream, probably too much of a good thing for many people but my skin needs the big guns if it’s going to look its best. I have experienced no ill effects, no peeling, and I am using it every night; people with sensitive skin may want to follow the directions that suggest every-other-night use.

The peels are individually packaged, which I have mixed feelings about. It feels wasteful, but it’s so convenient for travel. When peels aren’t packaged separately, inevitably many of them dry out. Or they clump together. That’s wasteful too. The wipes are generously-sized and I can get two nights use out of each.

The price? About 1/4 that of the premium brand — I liked that one, but I prefer the M-61.

Make sure to moisturize and wear sunscreen after using this product. These peels do seems to make my skin soft but I would recommend using them at night since they seem to make the skin sensitive and with that, being in the sun will make your skin develop sun spots. I recommend you add this to your skin care routine.
