My boyfriend is a tattoo artist and he did most of my tattoos. I only used numbing cream on and in between my fingers. That stuff absolutely does not work!! If you want a good recommendation? Look up “Deep Numbs Tattoo” in a green box, it has a 40% on it and it has 10g of product in the tube. Leave it on for 30 min or so…you’re more than good to go. Esp on your back, ankles, top of your fingers (I’m sorry but nothing helps with the pain in between the fingers…), chest, and hip area. I’m speaking to females here because I can’t tell what areas on a man’s body hurts the most. My bf said the chest hurt the most, and he doesn’t have hand tattoos, but the chest didn’t hurt at all. One tube goes a LONG way, no harsh scents, and comes right off. This was my last chance giving this brand a chance. Trust me, go with where I recommended. There’s two different but similar looking kind…they’re both just fine!!

    Didn’t work as described

My cursive tattoo and my shark tattoos didn’t hurt at all, only felt the vibration…. Simply the big flowers I could feel nearly everything but it was bearable.
I’ve had many tattoos before with nothing. This made my experience much more comfortable especially with the time length of my tattoos

It numbs the area pretty well at first but it only lasts maybe an hour, for me usually less. However I must note that I may have an uncommonly high tolerance for any sort of numbing agent. It’s a nightmare going to the dentist. So until someone else uses it here, I won’t know if it’s the product not working properly, or if I am just somewhat resistant to it’s effects.

I was extremely reluctant to try this. Im HEAVILY tattooed, and as ive gotten older im.noticing i dont have the pain tolerance i once had as a 22 year old right? So after my last tattoo, ( chest into front throat area) when tattooing began wasnt a big deal but as we progressed in the area, i really began to get extremely uncomfortable. My tattoo artist then asked me if i had tried Mad Rabbit? I told her i didnt. She began to.tell me.about it and she suggested i try it. She said alot.of her clients have used it and have had great expieriences using it. So i buy it. Now you have to use this stuff EXACTLY according to the directions. If you dont … youre not gonna get the full ride from having a PAIN FREE tattol experience. This is how i was explained and how i went ahead and used it.
    1.
Clean the area you will have tattooed. Dry area completely.
    2. Apply a generous amount to the area you will have tattooed an hour before your tattoo is expected to be applied to your skin. And cover it with saran wrap. .
3.Apply a THICK layer of it. Totally pack it.on. then cover with the saran wrap. When youre about to start your tattoo session, your artist can clean away the excess cream if any is still on there and begin tattooing.
    4. It is important to cover it with the saran wrap!!!! The heat will activate the ingredients in the cream and help it to asborb into the skin . Once your q out to start your tattoo session like mentioned before your artist can go ahead and clean the cream off and begin tattooing.
As soon as we started tattooing… i felt NOTHING but the pressure of the needles.
AN HOUR IN… i was super comfortable and even fell asleep a lil.bit. which i was NOT able to do prior lol my chest area doesnt have thick skin , and for me it was super painful thru out the ENTIRE process. THE MAD RABBIT CREAM definitely helped me get a more comfortable and relaxing tattoo session.
** 2 HOURS IN… i am.still comfortable. Some areas i can begin to feel needle penetration, not to the point where its even uncomfortable yet but its beginning to become a lil.more noticeable.
** HOUR 3…. now in some areas im beginning to feel a bit of pain. Not alot but still it was a lill painful and it did make me wince in some places. But again NOTHING LIKE THE FIRST TIME WITH MY ARTIST WITHOUT THE MAD RABBIT NUMBING CREAM.
****HOUR 4…. NOW im beginning to feel.a but more pain. My fave is beginning to get ” crybaby like” lol my artist recomeneded they reapply the cream AGAIN. concentrating on the areas we will go over and the areas we still needed to do. … left it on for aprox 45 mins, and my artist started to wash it off again and completely dry it…. and off we went. Into hour 5.
All in all MAD RABBIT RELIEVE NUMBING CREAM IS FANTASTIC! I WILL NEVER EVERRRRRRR GET TATTOOED WITHOUT IT. THIS IS GONNA BE MY MUST HAVE PRIOR TO GETTING ANY INK DONE, and should be yours too. Seriously. Best 24.99 ive spent all year. I just wish they made it in A BIGGER container! Lol Id happily pay whatever the asked for this cream. CAUSE IT FLIPPIN WORKS!!!!!!!!! ive tried a few other numbing creams and this one takes the cake! THANK YOU MAD RABBIT FOR ALLOWING ME TO ENJOY GETTING TATTOOED AGAIN and ketting me cover my body with beautiful artwork from amazing artists all around the world!!!!!!!!!!!! This was done by Faith at Twisted Image in Port St Lucie Florida.

This stuff isn’t bad . I have never used a numbing cream for any of my tattoos. But I decided to try it out as I knew shin was going to be fun. I put the numbing cream on and wrapped leg left on for 1 hour then wiped off and then waited about 30 minutes to start tattoo. Didn’t feel anything for first roughly 4 hrs . It did start wearing off after about 4 hours to wear I could feel some if not all of the next 1hours and then the last 1-1.5 hours I could feel it all. I have read and seen some people say when numbing cream wears off there’s alot of extra pain. In l my experience when it does wear off its just normal pain from tattoo nothing extra. Goes on easy an no horrible odor from the numbing cream. I Definitely recommend and I myself will use again. An if it had lasted 6 hrs I would have given it 5 stars. Next one on same leg I will leave on for 2 hrs and will update my review if it changes.

I only bought this stuff because I wasn’t able to get the one I wanted. It worked for 3 hours. I put it on and wrapped it with Saran Wrap for 1.5 prior to going in. Started the tattoo about 30 mins after wiping it off. Tge first two hours, I felt absolutely nothing. The last hour it was wearing off but still working very well. My next tattoo I was able to get the stuff I wanted last time. Amazon showed 9k purchases in the last month. Mad rabbit shows about 1/2 that, so the other stuff must be better right?? (The other stuff cost about 4 dollars more) I put the other stuff on and wrapped it in saran wrap, 3 hours before going in. YES! 3 FREAKING HOURS!! About 30 minutes after wiping it off, it felt extremly numb when I touched my arm. We started on my tattoo. I felt everything! If it numbed my arm at all, I couldn’t tell. I sat through 4 hours and had zero relief from it. It may have had 9k purchased but they should show how many of those 9k purchases were returned!! I will buy Mad Rabbit for all my tattoos moving forward. I have and will continue to recommend this product to everyone!

First i exfoliated lightly which i think is the key to this product. then i wrapped my foot up in saran wrap and left it on for about an hour. expect light tingling!!! my artist was late by 2 hours but even then i didn’t feel anything for the first 30 minutes which leads me to believe this wears off in about 3 hours. i’m very sure i would’ve felt nothing if he wasn’t late. i recommend this product !!!
