I recently used this gel on a fresh sleeve tattoo, and it worked wonders! The gel has a cool, soothing feel that was exactly what I needed during the initial healing process. It goes on smoothly and absorbs quickly, providing instant relief without being sticky or greasy. I’ve tried numerous other tattoo aftercare products and this is by far the best for a fresh tattoo.

What I appreciated most was how well it helped with the healing. My tattoo stayed moisturized, and the gel didn’t irritate the skin or affect the ink. In fact, it seemed to help keep the colors vibrant and reduced itching significantly, which is always a plus.

If you’re looking for a product to care for a fresh tattoo, I can’t recommend this gel enough. It feels great on the skin, promotes healing, and keeps your tattoo looking its best. A perfect addition to any aftercare routine!

I like most people have always just went got ink and used the same few products for years. Well this one was a 6+hrs on shin. I knew it was going to be a fun one so I decided to try some new products I been seeing and looking at for a bit. Reading reviews and everything I could on the products. I decided I was going to give mad rabbit numbing cream and mad rabbit Soothing Gel. Numbing cream to make it easier to get through the 6+ hrs on shin this session and the soothing gel to help after as I figured I was going to have a good bit of swelling. I was not disappointed in either products. Numbing cream made it so much easier make it through the first 6+hrs session. And the soothing gel helped so much with after care from the pain of swelling and walking the nearly 22 miles i walk a day wearing pants at work. If your questioning on if it works or if you should try . Let me tell you buy both now! You will not be disappointed. I will use on all my tattoos from now on.

Moisturizes well . The tattoo artist said this was the only aftercare gel he recommended and it has worked great. Tattoo still looks vibrant

I’ve got hundreds of hours of tattoos. Arms sleeved, redone years later, legs, etc and I’ve used so many different aftercare products from Aquafor to emu oil, dry skin care lotion, tattoo goo, foaming tattoo soaps, to just dial and a few other things over the years. This is hands down the best thing I’ve ever used.
It squirts out in a measured small amount that’s perfect for coating smaller to medium sized tattoos. You can always get more by squeezing again. It has pleasant smell. Its a tad sticky but easily washes off fingers with just warm water. And doesn’t stay sticky on the skin for long. It soaks in well. And most importantly it lasts a long time on the skin. You can get by with 3 applications a day.
I’d recommend to use Dial Complete Clean + Gentle Antibacterial foaming hand wash in the shower once a day to get your tattoo clean and then applying this straight after the shower. Then a couple more times that day. Your tattoo will look perfect in 3-4 weeks.
I also highly recommend second skin/saniderm for the first 4-6 days. I’ve done this routine with my last 3 tattoos and they look perfect a month later. This stuff really is amazing! Great price for how long it lasts too. One tube got me through 3 medium size tattoos.

Nice, easy to use lotion. Didn’t leave a sticky feeling and worked well. Used it on my last two tattoos and happy with it.

I’m an “old school” tattoo person I guess because I’m old and I remember a world before tattoo products existed and we used A&D ointment, if we were lucky 🙂 so I was very hesitant to buy new tattoo products that promise the world. There was one or two audible grumbles when I finally bought this but SURPRISE, I’m glad I did.
I have very pale and sensitive skin and recently my tattoos have been getting a little crispy. More than normal. I’d been using natural skin oil (coconut, etc) and eucerin and found they werent really encouraging healing. I got my calf done and nothing really helped sooth it and it was especially problematic in the morning when I got out of bed and it was dry, it didn’t feel great.
No longer wanting to suffer in silence I tried this ointment and I was completely shocked at how good it is. It soothe my tattoos, keeps the colors nice and seems to encourage healing. I don’t know if their 14 day guarantee is exactly accurate but I found my tattoos were less problematic and seemed to heal better and faster when using this ointment. I’m a convert for sure. I used this for my last three tattoos over about two months and it worked great from right after session to healed.
A couple downsides that lost a star from me:
    1. This feels sticky in my hand. I have to wash it off my hands after applying which can be inconvenient.
    2. Seems like the bottle doesn’t have that much and I burn through it pretty fast. I’d say it has 4-5 tattoos worth in it.
    3. There is something with the design of the bottle, the pigment doesn’t come out easy. When I squeeze it, it builds up pressure and it shoots out fast. Must be some design flaw.
Really a solid four star product. Very happy customer here.

It’s goes on smooth and it’s not over thick like other products which is awesome. No sticky residue left behind or greasy mess. I highly recommend this product!!
