I like this cream but do start out slowly! I have noticed some improvement after almost a month. When you’re only using it 2-3 times a week, it takes a while to see results but I do feel like my skin is clearer and brighter – just sort of a fresher glow. It does tingle and take some time to get used to. I like the product a lot but you get so little for the money. I’m still on the fence about whether it’s worth the price, but I definitely recommend the product if price is not an issue for you. Really good facial products come at a higher price point – you get what you pay for with this product.

This is a rich, hydrating night cream that feels great upon applying to your face. They recommend you test it slowly and ramp up to regular use. I didn’t require such precautions but I don’t typically have sensitive skin issues. The product has left my skin soft and supple. I haven’t noticed much as far as anti-aging results, but I do like the moisture it has provided to my face.

This cream didn’t work for me because it made my face sting a lot, so I had to stop using it after three tries. The directions say, “Apply to clean, dry skin 3 nights/week. Increase to nightly use as skin adjusts. A slight tingling sensation initially is normal.” I followed these instructions, applying it three nights a week, but my face felt a severe tingling sensation each time, and my skin couldn’t adjust.
I have dry, sensitive skin, which might be why this cream caused such a strong reaction. While the manufacturer says a slight tingling is normal, the sensation I felt was much more intense, making it impossible for me to keep using it. This cream might be better for people with less sensitive skin. Unfortunately, my sensitive skin couldn’t handle it.

I’ve been using this product for about two weeks now, and while it’s too early to measure its full effectiveness, I’m pleased with how it feels on my skin. I tend to have more sensitive skin and this glycolic acid cream doesn’t cause any irritation at all. It’s unscented and gluten-free, which is a big plus for me. I appreciate its gentle exfoliating properties and hydrating benefits. I’ll continue using it and am looking forward to the results.

One reviewer at businessinsider.com says that Maelove products are affordable and work for all skin types. Another reviewer says that the cream provides similar results to a chemical peel without the harsh side effects and that it worked well on their sensitive skin.
I can attest to these statements. Since using, my skin’s tone has evened out significantly and i’ve not had any problems with breakouts, which was my concern with having such sensitive skin, but this product has been a dream. I’m obsessed with the light cosmetic scent and it’s extremely moisturizing.
