I have shoulder length hair, and other claw clips just don’t seem to suit it very much. When the clip is too big, then there’s no hair hanging over to give the desired effect. These clips are smaller! So if you have a lot or long hair, this might not be for you. BUT! For those of us with short hair, I’m in love! And they are so stinking cute! The pictures really don’t do them justice! The patterns and colors are subtle, so it’s perfect to accent any outfit!

I really like these matte finished clips. I have very fine hair and most clips just slide out of my hair when I try to fasten it up and off my face. These have a double row of teeth on each side; that and the matte texture seem to really help them gently stay put. The colors are attractive and go with a lot of things in my wardrobe. The hinges seem to be well made and I anticipate these lasting a good, long while.

Decent quality for the price. I have fairly thin hair and these clips still struggle to hold all of it if I am not methodical in how I wrap my hair. With someone with thicker hair (even average), I think these clips would only able to hold up a portion vs your entire ponytail.
