At the time of this review, these hair clips were listed for $0.50 a piece. At that price, I wasn’t expecting these clips to be this nice. Besides, this feels like an unbelievably good deal in 2024. Especially considering these claws are at least as big as the most popular brand sold at your local box store.
I have a massive amount of thick, wavy hair, that falls to my waist. And these clips actually hold it in place! I had to upgrade to the bigger clip (he light blue one) because the smaller two pack of name brand clips (the black middle one) wasn’t cutting it anymore. So I’m very impressed with the strength MOST of these new clips provide.
I say most because one of the clips was made out of a clear plastic; instead of the opaque plastic the rest of the clips are. The clear plastic one is noticeably weaker and I expect that one to break in no time. It does not hold my hair in place.
The other thing I don’t like about these clips is the teeth in them are kind of sharp. They could scratch your scalp if you put it into fast or to rough. Also, the edges of the teeth are not very smooth. I could easily see these ripping/tearing thin ov heavily damaged hair.
Overall, I would recommend these clips to most people. I truly enjoy the freedom that comes with a price tag of $0.50 a piece. I don’t have to care about losing them or breaking them at this price!!!

This is a good seat of hair clips. I like the butterfly style a lot better than the normal claw clips. The quality feels nice and they seem sturdy and durable. I love the large variety of colors it comes with. My only issue is that I need a bigger space to store all of them!

Price is unbeatable. (10 claws for $5) Quality for that price is also pretty impressive. The claws come in a large bag but each clip is individually wrapped. I always make note of that in case people want to give some away or gift them. These are perfect for that.
Clips feel pretty sturdy and decently sized. I have larger clips but this works fine. The goofy photoshopped pics on this site aren’t always helpful. If you have very long and/or very thick hair this should still work.

The clips come in a variety of pretty matte colors. They open really wide for thick hair like mine and have very strong grip. I like that each of them are individually wrapped in case I would want to gift them.

These are a great size and pretty solid plastic that doesn’t feel like it’ll break after a few uses. They hold a fair amount of hair (I have thick hair) and they clip and don’t slip. There’s a nice variety of colors in this package, also.

I like how big these clips are, and how they fit. My hair is thick but it works with these clips just fine. I like that there is a variety of colors and I can change the clips to match my style. I like that now I have some clips that I can use to match my colorful personality, and I like that they hold my hair for days I don’t want to worry about my hair.

so far – I am super happy with this hair set. there are 10 clips in the set, and they are a variety of colors. They are large and work great for think hair, but still hold thinner hair. The clips are easy to squeeze while still being strong enough to grip the hair securely. Great value for the money.

Sturdy clips with a good “snap” to them – beautiful colors! They hold your hair very well (for reference, my hair isn’t super thick, but it’s past my waist, so twisted up I have a good bit and it holds nicely) and are beautiful colors. Well worth a purchase!
