My skin is dehydrated, dry and leans slightly acne prone/small bumps. This is the ONLY moisturizer my skin tolerates. CeraVe worked for years until it started breaking me out bad. I’ve went back to it a few times to test, and every time I break out. This moisturizer hasn’t let me down. It is not moisturizing enough on its own, so I layer a few holy grail things on top, but it’s a perfect base my skin loves. I SWEAR if they change the formula, I will cry real tears. I’ve repurchased this double pack probably 6 times by now. Ya’ll need to sponsor me or something lol.

I am so happy with this product!! It is a great addition to my daily skincare routine and is ultra moist moisturizer that is not sticky or heavy! I have a dry sensitive skin and have been this way all my life. I tried many other brands and while I liked some of them, but many I didnt. They were either too drying after putting on my face or too heavy for a “hydrating moist” cream. This is a light but extremely hydrating cream that does not irritate my skin and does its job far better than any other luxury brands. I found my ‘life-long product’! This cream just melts quickly into the skin and instantly you feel your dry skin supple and moisturized. The scent is light, smells a little like citrus and fades pretty quickly afterwards. Very inoffensive and I personally don’t like too much fragrance in my face creams. I do believe the claim of long lasting moisture effects.
I’m using this cream for hands too. I find I’ll need to reapply since I wash my hands frequently with soap but after the reapplication, my skin is soft and hydrated again. Very impressed!

Yes, I did purchase the six times and yes, it was a double pack lol I love the stuff. It doesn’t really have a scent and it’s really easy to use. It’s very affordable, so I don’t mind putting a lot on and my skin feels very moisturized after I do my skincare routine. I will continue to keep this in my arsenal. They also tend to include some samples so it’s nice to have little packs that I can take on my travels as well.

Such a hydrating and moisturizing face cream with no chance of irritation. I have combo and dehydrated skin that is sensitive. I love this cream so much and wear it day and night. It is soothing and even great to use if you are having a bad reaction to something.

I’ve tried multiple products that were recommended for sensitive skins with stellar reviews for my on-and-off facial dermatitis and nothing ever really worked for me. But this cream really saved my skin. I’m almost done with my second jar and I’m loving it. Although, this cream does not deliver any anti aging or other fancy improvements for my skin, it keeps me safe from any irritations or problems and that is what matter for me.

I received this product as a sample with their blue-ray sun gel and really enjoyed it. However; the price of this gave me pause with regard to actually ordering it. I had been using Cerave PM which is substantially more affordable. Here’s a point-by-point comparison:
1. Makep:rem is much more expensive. The double pack is more affordable than the single, but the price per ounce, even in the double pack is still 3 times more expensive than Cerave PM (when purchased on their Subscribe and Save double-pack option).
2. Makep:rem does not contain any real anti-aging ingredients, but Cerave PM does contain hyaluronic acid, niacinimide, and vital ceramides. All of these are proven anti-aging ingredients.
3. Makep:rem feels much more hydrating than Cerave PM (to me, anyway). Cerave was leaving me dry and flaky.
4. Makep:rem contains only 12 ingredients and is very gentle and non-irritating. Cerave PM contains a long list of ingredients, although it is also supposed to be gentle. Both moisturizers are fragrance-free and non-comedogenic.
It was a tough decision to order this much more expensive moisturizer, especially given the loss of anti-aging ingredients. But I do love the way Makep:rem Safe Me makes my skin feel, and I’m having a lot less issues with dryness and flakiness. In the end, I felt the extra money was worth it in order to actually feel hydrated, and isn’t that what a moisturizer is supposed to do?
