I have thin, fine chin length hair. This shampoo is incredible. When I travel to DC and Va, my hair looks terrible after I wash it. This hard water shampoo has changed that. I just bought their hydrate wellness shampoo for when I am back in New England, and their leave in spray conditioner. Very satisfied with their products. Some reviews said bottles arrived leaking, so I ordered direct from Malibu website. No problem.
I’m sort of a shampoo junkie, have tried many shampoos for fine hair- this is the best product so far.
Also liked Maui bamboo shampoo-green bottle for soft water areas.

I live in an area with very hard water. My hair has been heavy, dull and coarse. After using the shampoo & conditioner my hair was very soft and felt healthy. Says use weekly. I’ve been using twice a week.

My sister LOVES this shampoo. I surprised her with shampoo and conditioner when she was complaining about how bad her hair was with mineral build up from hard water. After just one shampoo, she loves her hair again! That said, I only gave 3 stars because the bottles leak. Even if you tighten the caps, if you tip them upside down, they will leak.

The product is excellent. Leaves my hair feeling light and clean. The shipping of the product wasn’t so great. The lid wasn’t screwed down all the way and some of it leaked out in the box onto another item. They need to secure the lid with packing tape or something.

I’ve spent so much money trying to find a solution to why my hair has changed texture significantly. I’m Asian and have always had very low maintenance, pin straight hair but as of a few months ago, my hair has felt and looked disgusting. It’s frizzy, extremely coarse and dry from the mid shaft down, almost kinky feeling to the touch. I’ve purchased every leave in conditioner and oil you could think of from high end to drugstore. Nothing worked. At one point I think I was doing more damage by layering so many different moisturizing products. At first I thought it was protein overload, then I thought it was moisture overload. Nothing helped. The only thing I didn’t address was potentially having hard water in my apartment (my skin hasn’t changed at all though). After trying this shampoo ONCE my hair felt COMPLETELY different. It was smooth, it felt silky, I didn’t even have to use a leave in product. Bonus is it didn’t feel like it was stripping my hair like the clarifying shampoos I’ve tried AND the scent is fruity and pleasant (as opposed to a lot of other shampoos that reak of floral). Only con is it’s a bit more expensive than the shampoo I normally use but honestly if it continues to work as well as it did today it’s worth it to me.

Seller sealed the top of my bottle with a sticker, so it did not leak, I was really impressed. I had read so many reviews of others, getting bottles of this shampoo and found it had been leaking when they received it. Also the the product is genuine, as I had a bottle from a salon to compare it to. This is by far the best shampoo I have ever used for hard water, my hair is shiny and moisterized without being weighed down. It really does pull out the hard water minerals from the hair.

*The first paragraph is about the routine I have to get these results and the second paragraph is about the shampoo itself.*
So my hair is naturally wavy, medium thick and severely color damaged. I’ve been trying to grow my hair super long because of a bad bob a couple years ago (mid covid) and this is as long as it’ll get. I’ve been noticing WAY more shedding recently and decided to finally figure out how to get my hair back to as healthy as I can get it. I found this guy on YouTube called the Blowout Professor and in these before and after pictures I followed his routine which consists of 1. Using the right shampoo for your hair. 2. Using a hair mask instead of conditioner. 3. Using a leave in conditioner and hair oil on the ends right out of the shower on damp hair. Now keep in mind I used olaplex no 3 before shampooing which he also recommended so this was the result after following that routine just one time.
As for the shampoo, it worked very well. It’s hard to tell how well when I used olaplex no 3 before shampooing but my hair felt real soft after letting it sit for a little bit. This shampoo will be my new go to shampoo because of how hard the water is where I live and how it instantly felt healthier. For the price I’d say go for it. The scent is amazing as well. It reminds me of a pina colada. Also the shine my hair has now is crazy. Very good product. 10/10

I have been using this for years, We have well water with high iron content, we do have a water Softener, but this shampoo gets makes your hair feel clean and soft.
