So I was also shocked that the shampoo smelled chemical-y, and I was ready to return it but I first stopped by an actual Malin+Goetz store near me and their bottle smelled the exact same. The SA said that he was also shocked but the conditioner does work well and isn’t damaging at all. When it’s in your hair it smells quite good actually.

I love the smell of the Malin + Goetz Cilantro Conditioner! It’s not greasy at all, which is perfect for my hair. I have a lot of hair, but it’s thin and looks thick, and this conditioner works wonderfully without weighing it down. Highly recommend!

This condition makes my hair so soft and light weight. The price is a bit much for the size but you do not need a lot. I use it with the peppermint shampoo. I ordered from Amazon because I was out and the shipping was faster, this time.

I like this product. While the moisturizing conditioning aspect of it isn’t as lotion-y as other products; I do like the smell of the scent, the fact that you don’t have to scrub and scrub to not be slick after and it doesn’t really leave your hair greasy.
