A friend mentioned this brush, so I did a bit of research. It’s sold by hair salons so can’t be bad! I decided to give it a go as my hair is thin and is looking a bit dull at the minute.
The packaging is really lovely – it comes in a nice branded box and has a magnetic branded charger and a drawstring bag to store it all together.
The brush is quite ergonomic, I get the name Manta as it looks like a Manta Ray but covers the palm of your hand.
The colours are quite trendy, grey brush and a bit of rose gold.
It has two settings – one standard and one with more pulsations. It feels a bit strange at first when you’re not used to it but it’s actually quite nice and relaxing. As it’s a magnetic charger, you can use it in the shower which is what I do predominantly, as I use it when I shampoo my hair. Ive had it a few weeks but have noticed that my hair is shinier and seems to have more volume, I think the roots aren’t so “stuck” to my scalp of that make sense. I also use it on my 5 year old as she has the longest hair ever and it’s easy to detangle her hair with it.
Overall quite happy with my friend’s recommendation, and will certainly get one for my dad for Christmas as he’s started using a hair loss shampoo, so will be quite pleased with this I think!

I would say this is one of the greatest massage tools I have used in a while. Brushing hair feels good with just fingers however when you use this comb it is heavenly. Add the vibration feature and it is just another sensation all together. The comb comes with a convenient magnetic charger and holds the charge for a long time.

My wife loves this scalp massager. The bristles are firm but soft and the vibration has two settings which feel like a great compliment to the already great sensation you get when using the comb. The waterproof feature is great plus to the tool as it can be used in the shower.

It doesn’t brush through the hair and I’m not sure how this would help even it brushed through hair.

Well, this is an interesting little gadget. The vibrations emanate from the handle and don’t really travel down through the silicone prongs very well, so your hand receives more of a massage than your scalp. We’ve actually started using it for a different purpose: a back scratcher. My husband loves the feel of the silicone prongs on his back, and my hand benefits from the massage of the vibrations, so it is a win-win situation.

The charging method is magnetic, and the emblem on the charger stays brightly lit up as long as the usb cord is plugged in, which might drive you crazy at night. In my opinion, the current list price at the time of this review (70 dollars) is a bit steep.

Box unsealed. Hair in bristles. Generally grubby.

  6. Mr. Dumpling

This little thing gives a nice scalp massage. There are 2 levels of intensity for vibration. The bristles are a soft plastic, so they don’t hurt the scalp, but also don’t really brush thick hair. It’s easy to use and very compact.

Button is a little funky, will turn on out of no where and sometimes won’t turn on or off must press a couple times. not as intense scalp massage as expected, thing it comes with to hang falls off shower, mirror etc so you’ll come home to it on the floor or somewhere else. expensive not worth the price for sure. lol. It is cute, and you can use in the shower. But not worth 95$ more like 30$ lol at least .

Due to illness my hair is very thin at the moment and I wanted something very gentle. This fits the bill perfectly. The massage is not as strong as I hoped it would be and I imagine those with thicker hair may not feel it much. Seems a bit on the expensive side but as a treat purchase it is a very nicely made quality product.

Bought for hubby, he likes it, especially the massage feature. Not so well on longer hair.

This is a great scalp massager, and it really works in the shower to make the shampoo lather. I’ve read reviews where people are having trouble charging it. I have not had that problem. I did at first, but I was charging from a USB port from a laptop. When I went to charge it on a USB AC wall plug, it charged up just fine. Totally recommend it even though the price is a little steep.

I saw this brush on Dragons Den, (They didn’t get a dragon, although I don’t think they need one ). One very expensive brush, BUT, it glides through hair without pulling and is a joy to use once you get used to holding it. I love the fact you can use it in the shower to massage your scalp with shampoo, then proceed to brush through with conditioner. It makes brushing my hair so easy both when dry or wet. Definitely less hair being pulled out. I quite like the massage it gives as it makes my scalp feel clean and slightly tingly. Just hope it lasts for a long time. I am very happy with it. By the way my hair is fine but long.

Certainly expensive for the simplicity of this brush. The bristles are extremely soft and long. It is more difficult to use on my other daughter, who has much coarser, thicker, denser hair, because it is long and soft. The hair shampoo brush is simple to grasp and use. It can be used with shampoo both dry and wet. However, the bristles were going to be a little hard plastic-like, which does not feel soft and good.

Massager is very weak. I could not feel anything on my scalp. I do not have very thick hair.
