I have been using this product for over 30 years. I have oily skin to the point I will not leave out the house without applying it on my face. I also keep some in my handbag.
If anyone does not give this product 5 starts it’s only because this product is not for their skin issue, and that does not mean this product doesn’t work.
Everyone has different skin types, which makes us all different.
I recommend this product to students with oily skin and coworkers. No, I’m not a Mary Kay consultant, I should be.
If you have really oily skin I encourage you to read all the reviews and then buy the product😉

I have a very oily t-zone and now that we live in Texas, I have been suffering from the humidity. My skin looked super shiny instantly after I applied makeup. It was a never-ending cycle of wash my face, put on make up, blot my face throughout the day, remove my makeup, wash my face. It was annoying. I tried this product and I haven’t had to blot my face at all during the day. It is so nice to still have my makeup on at the end of the day instead of on blotting sheets. I hate the feeling of my face melting off before the day is done. I recommend this product for anyone who has very oily skin. A little goes a long way so the price is worth it. I put one dot on each cheek, one dot on my nose, one on my chin, and one on my forehead. It rubs in very easily.

The Mary Kay Mattifier works pretty well for me. There was a better product available until just recently but it was about ten times more expensive: Black Opal Invisible Oil Blocking Mattifier. I say “better” only because of the feel on my head. Mary Kay’s mattifier leaves a dry finish that I am aware of although it’s not a problem ( you cannot see it) and I forget about it once I’m on my way out the door. Mary Kay is affordable. I’m male and I use this product on my shaved head which without a mattifier reflects light like a mirror. My friends used to have to squint to look at me in direct sunlight.
