I have naturally wavy hair but the wave is inconsistent. Underneath I have Coils But on top the waves fall flat. This spray gives so much more definition to my waves. I use my Dyson blow dryer with the diffuser attachment, and some spray hair oil along with this spray and my waves are much nicer.
I don’t feel like this spray weighs down my hair and I do use a lot of it each time I style my hair wavy.
It smells fantastic! Overall, I’m really happy with it and like styling my hair wavy again.
This spray compares to the Kevin Murphy wave spray but at a better price point so I will keep buying this one from matrix.

I have spaghetti style waves. Always have. . . and I’ve blown them into submission for the past 60 years (give or take). So today after washing my hair I dried my scalp (it gets itchy if I let it air dry) and applied this to the lower half of my hair per directions and “scrunched” it. Initially it looked pretty good, lots of little spaghetti waves, but as it dried it just looked kinda like dirty spaghetti hair, so I brushed the top lightly and was pleased with the resulting clean looking waves (no more spaghetti though). This didn’t work as hair spray for me, and even before I did the light brushing I used hairspray to keep my hair out of my eyes. For what it’s worth, this product left my hair feeling very soft (post brushing). My curls will just have to keep dreaming. 🙂
Note, take care when removing the “Gripper” seal/tape that prevents accidental dispensing of the product. I cracked the lid while removing it (but then used some of that tape to fix the crack).
Update: This makes my hair soft and smooth, but also makes the bathroom floor very slippery, although it’s easy to clean.

I have tried several shampoos, conditioners and hairsprays from Matrix and like this one, they are all high quality and work well. My hair is fine and curly. If I don’t put some type of product onto it after washing, it will go very flat very quickly. I used this on my hair that was washed the day before. I wet it lightly with water using my hands first, then sprayed this product onto it. First of all, I really appreciate that this bottle has a spray feature. I have another curl product that only comes out in a squirt which is not helpful on fine hair. After spraying, I scrunched away, fluffing and spraying. My curls were revived after being slept on the night before and waking up flat. I then went for an hourlong walk in medium humidity and my curls held up fine. No frizzing. It has a light, pleasant scent. I would reccommend this product for fine, curly hair.
