I love the shampoo and conditioner so much, it has a honey like scent that is really pleasant. My friends tell me I smell like happiness when they sniff my hair, lol. I have fine, medium density 2b/2c waves and the flax seed line is very compatible with it. Cleans well, but sometimes I have to shampoo twice to get everything out. My hair feels light and airy, and I like the no silicones. Love it, gives me great hair days every day of my wash cycle and I think my hair has improved since using it. One bottle has lasted me 5 months already and I’m 2/3 the way through. Will purchase again.

I have long medium thick curly hair. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve been noticing the products I used to rely upon do not work the same way. I was often unhappy with my hair. At first I was hesitant because it doesn’t foam much, but it left my hair squeaky clean and feeling fresh. The real test was how my hair looked after it dried. It wasn’t as much curl as I was hoping for, but what there was consisted of nice loose and long ringlets. Reading previous review I know many complained over the smell. I love it. It smells clean and in a way reminds me of something in the mint family. The smell does stay with you, but I did it find it as strong as others said. I only needed a dollop about the size of a quarter and took my time working it in. I am very happy with it so far.

I have healthy mixed race 3b curls that are getting finer over the years (I’m only 23) and find themselves easily oily. This product intrigued me at first glance! I was really excited to use it and had been using it every four days on my hair since I purchased it but I can’t get past the way it leaves your hair feeling like sandpaper after each use, even with the matching conditioner. I understand that oil control products aren’t the most moisturizing, but this feels like it strips my hair to the point where it will become damaged and also strips color-treated hair. I find that my hair is slightly less oily, but not enough to the point where I’d compromise the integrity of my hair with how much it leaves it feeling like string.

It lathers super well but I have type 2c -3A hair so it’s hard to find a product that won’t weigh my curls down and this does that my hair doesn’t feel like clean clean when I’m done washing it, but it works I wouldn’t re purchase this product but I do like the conditioner though and the Maui moisture mousse is amazing this shampoo might work better for someone with thicker hair or type 3c and up it’s definitely not a clarifying shampoo in any way though.
