These are so easy to use and make your hair feel so fresh and clean. I was a week post op with no showering allowed and was unable to wash my hair. These were a welcome relief to use on my hair. The shower caps were so nice and thick I hated to throw them away. These would also be awesome to use while camping! Highly recommend!

Buy these regularly for my Mum who cannot wash her hair any more. Obviously it doesnt compare to a proper wash and conditioner but they’re really handy and easy to use. Only warning, they are cold!!!! I just leave the cap in the bag and put it in a bowl of warm water before she uses it and its much better. Would definitely recommend.

I purchase these all the time to use on my elderly Mother. They are super easy to use and have not caused any flaking or dryness of her hair. They don’t some crazy scent either. The only negative I can see is that the cap could use just a bit more stretch but it works just fine as is.

If you heavily condition your hair normally, this would probably be ok. If, like me, you have normal(or even naturally greasy) hair that you don’t condition, or only lightly condition, this won’t be the product for you. I’m having shoulder surgery in a few days & no use of that arm for 6wks. I’ve been down this road before & trying to wash my hair is extremely cumbersome and overly painful. I needed something I could do with 1 hand in a comfortable position. While this was crazy easy to use, and it smells good, it is not as mess free as you’d believe from the product description. You need to be bent over to pull it on your head to avoid the liquid running out. Then stay bent over for the 3 minutes required. And this wouldn’t be any easier to use one handed. I have long hair(waist length) that I cut yesterday to shoulder length to have an easier time using the cap, but my hair was still not short enough to be able to successfully use the cap one handed.
After use: I wash my hair every other day with an organic shampoo. It is fairly normal, I use a light leave-in conditioner spray after every wash & it normally takes 3-4 days to look like it needs washed again. The cap left my hair somewhat slimey and after I dried it , it immediately looked like a teen going through rough puberty in a brutally hot & humidity Deep South summer hadn’t washed in a handful of days. Now, that may be because I didn’t rinse, but rinsing was not supposed to be required. All things considered, it’s definitely not a product for people with normal hair to use after a surgery/during recovery.

Another purchase I made for my father who was unable to care for himself. I got these for me to use on him, otherwise he has amazing nurses who would come bath him. But it helped me feel like I was able to care for him too. These caps are thick and saturated, but not too saturated that they drip all over the place. They fit around his head and I was able to massage the product in and it was almost like a spa massage for him. This particular buy was decently priced compared to other vendors I’ve found. These caps can get pretty expensive so this was a good value.
