This toothpaste really toughened up my gums. It took about 3-4 weeks to see a difference after flossing but it has made my gums much stronger. I will continue to use this product. The only thing I wish was that it came in a minty flavor. It’s kind of a chalk taste but it really does do a great job at what it advertises to do.

I tried Caredo because I have some gum recession and bleeding when I floss. I had never heard of it, it’s not FDA approved, and even the seller has a graphic in the product description that says “CREADO”. They misspelled their own product name – should have been a red flag.
The taste is WEIRD. Like super weird. One of the other reviews compared it to orange peels and I’ve never been able to taste anything else. It’s labeled as “spearmint” but that’s about as far from the flavor as you can get. It’s bitter, the texture is slightly gritty, and it’s just all around weird. Admittedly you do get used to it, but the first couple of brushes will be an experience.
As far as efficacy, I’ve noticed a very slight improvement. I occasionally had some bleeding when I brushed, and I have to say I don’t think I’ve noticed any blood when I brush in a few weeks, but it didn’t happen very often to begin with. My main reason for getting this, though, was receding gums and bleeding when I floss. It VERY minimally helped both. My gums don’t look noticeably better, the recession maybe got better by a hair? And I still bleed when I floss, but maybe a slight bit less.
The active ingredient in this toothpaste (according to Amazon) is histidine. Do a few minutes of research – literally NOWHERE online will you see anything about histidine helping with periodontitis, gum recession, or even mention of it being used in toothpaste or oral care in any way other than in reference to this specific product. In fact, it looks like there is very little evidence of histidine helping even the things that it does supposedly help.
I’d say this is worth trying as long as the issues you’re trying to address are minor – $25 is a hard sell for a second tube, and I am highly suspicious of this active ingredient (which apparently is not harmful, but doesn’t seem to have any evidence that it’s particularly helpful either), but it did seem to help me ever so slightly. So if “ever so slightly” is all you need, this could be worth the purchase for you.

IDK what language is on the other side or where it comes from but I have major periodontal disease and this turned my red and inflamed gums that bled every time I brushed into nice pink and stronger gums in about 5 days. It foams up quick you only need like a pea size (and brush after every single meal)
