The scent is really pleasant, and it does hide odor well! However, for me, it really flared up the atopic dermatitis I sometimes get in my armpit area…after 2 uses it left my underarms very dry and itchy. Again, I wish I could love it, but I can’t tolerate the itchiness and dryness.

I’ve tried pretty much all the natural deodorants…Schmidts, Lume (lotion and stick), Tom’s, Native, Melaleuca, etc. None of them have worked- either they are sticky, they do nothing for BO, they actually make me smell worse, leave stains on clothes that I can’t get out, or some combination of those things. Odor is more important to me than antiperspirant, but ideally the product I use does both. I didn’t have high hopes for the Megababe deodorant, but decided to try it based on reviews. I got it on a 100+ degree day when I needed to do yard work, so I figured I would put it to the test.
To start, it smelled really good and applied well. I went outside to work, and hours later, I was amazed to find my armpits did not smell ONE BIT. The scent from the deo had faded away, and there was no BO. I also wasn’t as sweaty as I normally am! I have used it for a week now in the hot summer weather and I have been so impressed. No odors, weather I’m sweating from stress, anxiety, heat, or exertion. It doesn’t seep into my shirt and stain. It applies great and doesn’t leave weird residue on my skin. The only con is the price, but it is comparable to other natural deodorants on the market and does a much better job!

I am allergic to everything, I get hives, rashes, scaling. I cannot wear traditional deodorant but that’s a problem because I stink when I work out without it. I have tried Lume, non-aluminium deodorant from traditional brands, powdered deo from all natural brands, literally everything. I struggle finding personal products that work for me in general. Finally what was working was glycolic acid from the ordinary in a refillable roller ball. But eventually, after many months, it was too much for me and I began to rash out to that too. I think the glycolic acid killed the stink but just exfoliating every day on the underarms was getting to be too much. So when I saw this was made of fruit acids with the same idea as glycolic acid, except it had moisturizers to prevent that sensitivity, I was intrigued. I am happy to report it has been a whole year of me using this (I originally found it in Target, got it on Amazon, but today I went to Walmart and even my local Walmart has recently got it so maybe its becoming more popular!) and I still have 0 sensitivity.
This is not an anti-perspirant but I personally cannot use them anyway. If I know its going to be very hot out I usually dust some corn starch on top, but I am not a particularly sweaty person so I am not sure you should take my word on that.
Lastly, I cannot smell the deo, which is a plus for me. It’s fruity in the tube but smells like nothing on me. I like masculine scents, and Im waiting for them to come out with a fruit acid deo that also is masculine, but since this leaves no lasting scent I am not mad about it.

I love this deodorant by Megababe. I purchased 4 deodorants The Green deo, Glow deodorant, Smoothie Deo and the Geo Deo. Smoothie and the Geo deo are my favorites. They smell the best and last the longest on me. I use the space bar soap on my armpits to detox and it works great. The Smoothie Deo has an incomparable fruity scent and I love the texture, could be too thick for some but I love it. I can get to the end of my 8 hour work day without odor. Any longer and I have to wipe off and reapply but I don’t mind that. Aluminum free deodorant only lasts but so long, I carry this to work in case I feel I need to reapply. Give it a try, and buy the space bar charcoal soap for your armpits they work well together.

I was using Native deodorant for years but something changed in the formula and it was leaving oil stains on my clothing that were hard to remove. I tried this and it’s doing what I need without the dreaded oil stain problems. I love that the scent is very subtle. It’s a tropical scent that is pleasant. The texture is smooth and applies easily. The deodorant works. I put it on after I shower and haven’t had any issues.

Referred by a friend and I tried it and liked it. Made a second purchase. No itching. Smells good. No stain on clothing. Natural ingredients.
Only cons are I wish there was a better way to push the deodorant up in the tube as it wears down and it’s a bit pricey.

This smells SUPER tooty-fruity. It works well— I have very sensitive skin so it did not break my armpits out which I appreciate. The smell lasts mostly all day (there are of course exceptions) and the deodorant does not stain clothes. However, it goes on super thick and feels a little sticky. I also noticed that because it goes on so thick, the product itself does not last long— I am already done with the stick and i’ve had it for exactly a month. It’s a lot of money to spend on a product that runs out in a month.

I’ve been using the megababe smoothie deo for two weeks now and I’m very happy with the results! I’ve been using the deo along with the space bar and it’s definitely a power duo for stinky pits! Although I don’t sweat any less, there is no longer the unpleasant underarm stank that comes with the sweat (even my husband agrees) and for that I’m very happy! It even holds up through an hour of a sweaty workout – no more worrying if the person next to me is smelling my stank. I’ve tried other natural deodorants and my armpits started to rash/react, which is very unpleasant.. and I have not had that result with this product so I will be buying megababe deo again!
