I love this cream. It takes off all my make up but my mascara. I use ponds cold cream for that. The scent is awesome. My aunt has been using it for 50 years and her skin is amazing for an 83 year old. I’m hoping to follow in her footsteps. This is great for dry skin. I wouldn’t use it on oily skin. The scent is relaxing.

Having used Merle Norman cold cream for over 60 years ( started in my teens working in the NYC Merle Norman studio on 57th Street) I can honestly say, that it has never failed to protect my skin. It made it easy to remove all my make up, even mascara without tugging and pulling at my face. And it was extremely helpful in preventing irritation to my face while masking during the Pandemic.

I have loved this stuff since I was a young girl learning how to put make on! My mother wore this and her skin was always so beautiful! And here I am 67 years old and am still using it! It’s wonderful! I use tiny amounts under my make up around where I had wrinkles but have disappeared some! It just helps to keep me moisturized! I’m a firm believer it this jar on miracle cream!

I hate to say it because I’d divulge my age, but I’ve used this product since the late 1960’s when a very close friend recommended Merle Norman products. She was a flight attendant with great skin so I figured I’d give it a try. I went to one of their studios and have never used anything else since. I always get great compliments on my skin and just smile and say “Merle Norman did it.” I haven’t washed my face with soap and water since then. Just apply the cleansing cream, wipe it off, apply an astringent and a moisturizer at bedtime and that’s it!

I always liked Merle Norman, and wore their perfume and I don’t think it is still made. I bought the last bottle the store had in 2000 and rec’d many compliments. Love the matte make up for dry skin. This ‘cold cream’ makes your face feel so nourished. I use it nearly daily. I should use it daily. I have others to use as well. I just had a family member who owned six esthetician businesses in the SF East and South Bay. I have her product as well. Some is wasting away and some of it was terribly expensive, and I didn’t pay a dime for it. Those days are over. If you used Merle Norman or had someone you knew that did, try it. You might get hooked just as I did. I recalled my aunt’s face that was not lined. They have a great product for that. So, buy matte make up if you have dry skin, it will last a good long time. You get a LOT of product in the moisturizer above.
