This conditioner has a fresh minty smell that I love! My husband said it smells like menthol, but that it was a nice aroma. He often compliments me on my hair smelling good. It also lathers so well. After only one use I can’t say that it’s helped with growth yet. But I can say that my hair feels nice after the shower with also being paired with the shampoo. My curls seem to love it!! Hoping to come write another review after several months that my hair has grown significantly.

I bought Mielle rosemary and mint shampoo and conditioner to use as part of a routine to try to help with filling in post-menopausal thinning hair. (I use these items along w/ Mielle rosemary hair oil. Do an Internet search for the scientific paper about “rosemary oil vs minoxidil” to read about rosemary essential oil’s being as effective as minoxidil [brand name Rogaine] in regrowing hair.)
My first impression from a purely sensory perspective, and is kinda meh, 3.5 stars rounded to 4 for benefit of the doubt. It smells herby in the bottle, kind of like original Herbal Essence from decades ago. Lol It’s not unpleasant, but it doesn’t smell like either rosemary or mint, which is both disappointing and odd since both plants have very strong smells.
A little goes a long way; the shampoo lathers well, and the conditioner (regular, not leave-in or mask) covers my long hair well. The directions say to use a dime-sized amount, which I thought was hilarious, but if I hadn’t had to wash the Mielle rosemary oil out of my hair, a dime of it would have been fine! The pumps for both items are quite hard to push, though I think this is probably because the products are both very thick and viscous. The conditioner was a little slimy… Actually kinda reminded me of lube, lol, but it rinsed out cleanly, so… ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I have fine hair that is always soft anyway, but I think this stuff made it even a bit softer, so if you have courser hair, you’ll probably like the way it feels after using this.
After washing and drying, my hair smells clean, but beyond that, it barely smells like anything except just hair. Folks who like lightly scented personal products will appreciate this, though I personally didn’t.
Overall, a 3.5-star meh sensory experience, but one I’m willing to put up with if it improves my thinning hair. Only time will tell. I plan to use the oil, shampoo, and conditioner at least 2x/week, possibly 3 or 4. (The directions for the oil say you can apply it and go about your day, so theoretically, you could use that every day like you would minoxidil. However, with my hair being fine AND thinning, it would look greasy even if I put just a couple of drops in it. Someone with thicker hair could probably get away with using it daily for scalp treatment and hair strengthening. And fwiw, the oil actually DOES smell like rosemary.)

I love that it likes my hair feeling smoot. Do not need to used high amount for a great out come. I start using after postpartum hair lost so I am not sure if I am going back to my normal of the product is making my hair growth but either way I do not think I will change product right now. I love how healthy and smooth my hair is.

I recently purchased this shampoo, and unfortunately, it has not worked well for me. I have natural hair that becomes curly when wet, and this product has left my hair tangled and difficult to manage. I also noticed an increase in hair fall, especially while drying and combing. Additionally, my hair feels drier and has lost its shine. Overall, I am disappointed with this shampoo and would not recommend it for those with similar hair type.

I have been using the shampoo and conditioner for almost a month now, and wow have I seen a difference. Before using the shampoo and conditioner, my hair would get greasy so quickly, was dry and needed some moisturizing. Ever since I have put this product in my hair, the texture and healthiness of my hair has changed so much. My hair is now shiny, incredibly soft, moisturized and luscious. It smells great too! Never going back to any other shampoo and conditioner 😍

Works as intended and has a good scent. It doesn’t do anything amazing or special, my ends still split and are frizzy after washing. I would buy it again but I can easily get something similar at the dollar store.

Smells very clean, and doesn’t linger after your hair drys if you aren’t a big fan of mint scents. My hairs never been more soft, shiny and moisturized. Highly recommend
