This travel curling iron is great! I love the size. Look at my photo comparing it to my regular size curling iron. My regular size one is a problem because it doesn’t really fit in my shower bag. The barrel of this one is 1″ which a perfect size for my hair. The barrel is smooth, but the grip is perfect. It feels so much better than my other one.

The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because for some reason it is hard for me to get it to turn on. There were no instructions on this. When it is plugged in, the light comes on, but it doesn’t heat up until you push the button enough times that it eventually moves to the 250 degree spot. I haven’t figured out how to make that happen sooner. I just push it several times and it eventually moves there and then I can easily get it to move the temperature up and down. It heats up in about 30 seconds!

It comes with a velvet case and the cord has a velcor tie on it that makes it easy to keep the cord rolled up. It also has adapter for European voltage.

This is great for travel, but I plan to make it my main curling iron because I like it so much better.

This is a great device for using at home and for travel. It comes with adapters for foreign use too. I like that it comes with a nice velvet storage bag.

The curling iron is lightweight, small sized for travel, and cute.

I have been using a hot brush, but it’s so long in size, I had a hard time fitting it in my pack on a recent trip. Also, some times I want more curls, but the hot brush doesn’t give me that now that I grew my hair out. I feel like I have more control with this curler, I can minimize or maximize the amount of curl so that it will work well for multiple styles.

There are three heat settings, I only needed the medium setting.
Note that even the tip gets super hot. I definitely needed to wear my glove on one hand.

I’m really pleased with this travel curling iron. It’s a good value too.

This is a very nice little curler. The size is about 2/3 the size of a regular curler, but if you want something that will fit in a medium to large sized purse this will meet that need. I was impressed with how well it curled even long hair in smallish sections. The best feature for Intl travelers may be the 2 included plug adapters. Not sure which countries use this type of plug or if adapters will work with other devices, but nice to have if you go to other countries with different plugs. I also appreciated the velvet-like carry bag. For most people this is a good curler to put in a briefcase, gym bag or carry on if you want to touch up on the go. For the small reduction in weight/length, this does not seem like a must have for domestic travel unless you need every ounce in that suitcase to work hard.

Works well. But it does get a little warmer than I like. The holder at the end is really small. Be careful, I did burn my ear a little.

Angilala Travel Curling Iron: This is a nearly perfect travel curling iron. It comes complete with the adaptors to plug it into other countries’ electrical outlets. It has a cool tip end for those of us who grab the end of the curling iron. It has a built-in stand to keep it off of the counter. It has automatic shut off and three heat levels. One odd thing about this is that the power light turns on but it doesn’t get hot until you hold the power button to shift between the heat settings. This kind of threw me off at first. It’s not a big deal but it’s good to know. The barrel on this is shorter than typical curling irons, so be sure to note that. It’s the perfect length in my opinion. I also like that it has a clamp. I’ve never been able to use curling irons without a clamp. I wish this came in ¾” and ½” barrel versions as well.

I like the barrel size, and the actual size of this curling iron. This is very lightweight and shorter in length, and definitely takes up a lot less space, than my everyday iron, making this one a great size for packing and traveling. Plus you get 2 travel adapters that allow you to plug into other outlets overseas for Europe and the UK.

It has a nice rose-gold finish, with light pink, and “Barbie Pink” accents throughout—-definitely loving all the pink on this iron! This is so easy to use, with easy press buttons to power it on and off. The iron handle is easy to hold, fits nicely in your hand, is easy to operate, opens and closes easily, grips hair gently, and hair doesn’t slide off the curling iron barrel when working with sections of hair (even my fine hair!). The barrel is small enough to travel with easily, yet long enough to curl ample sections of hair evenly, for even more elaborate styling options.

This size works well for layered hair, and both shorter lengths and longer lengths, to create the loose waves and curls. It heats up quickly too, literally just takes 30 seconds. Just press the power button, hold it down to change the temperature you want the iron to be. I found the 2 lower temperature settings did the job for my hair, but your experience could be different depending on your hair length and thickness.

For all that I love about this curling iron, I do have a few things I want to mention. I am taking a star off because the tip gets really hot on my curling iron. I am sorry, I am totally old school, so all my curling irons growing up had a tip you could hold to help you hold the iron easier and to give you more control when you wrap your hair around the iron barrel. (“This is how we do it….”) So, you may inadvertently touch that area by mistake if you are used to those type of styling methods and curling irons, like I am. Plus there is no cooling indicator spot that changes from red when hot, to black when cold, to let you know when the barrel has cooled off, and is ready to be put away. That would be really handy on this iron.

However, all that said, I really do like this “grip and clip” style curling iron—-this is definitely much lighter and takes up less space, it heats up quickly, and this really does a nice job on your hair overall, so definitely would bring it with me when traveling. Plus the adapters are super nice to have.

This travel curling iron is small making it easy to pack but large enough to get the job done. It heats up reasonably fast and it offers three heat settings. I like the fact that it is dual voltage and comes with adapters for international use.
